deadfred666
Title says it all. I'm not happy with the new update, 0.61.5. Its causing me to crash, have critical errors with .NETAnyways, is there a way to download the previous version, 0.61.4 until this problem with .NET is resolved? Any help, links, would be appreciated. Thank you. :)

Gazz43
Yes this the link you can go back to NMM 0.61.1 right up to 0.61.5 --> http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/896029-nexus-mod-manager-release-notes-and-download-links/
bben46
.net is a Windows program - if you cannot get it to work that is not a NMM problem, but a Windows problem. MS updated their .net and the new version requires certain earlier updates to work - In Win7 it requires the SP1 that was released several years ago. If you did not update to SP1 then your computer is at risk and the new .net version will not install. Bring your Windows up to date and it will work. Fix your windows first. Then NMM will work.
DragonSlayer202
I'm not using mod manager until they fix the NMM 0.61.5, so now I can't play the homemaker mod, and the weightless junk mod.
caralampio
The problem is you cannot uninstall .Net 4.6, which may be the real culprit of your problems.
bben46
ALL Nexus mods, no exceptions can still be installed manually. NMM is not and will not be required to install mods. NMM does work for most people. if it doesn't work for you. what are you doing different from the many thousands of users that it does work for? Here is one thing I have seen over and over. If you are using Win7, and have not kept up with the Windows updates. Win7 SP1 (released several years ago) is REQUIRED to install the latest update of Windows .net framework now. This is NOT a Nexus problem and we cannot fix it because it is a Windows program and a part of Windows. @caralampino - so far you are the only poster that thinks a Windows update is at fault for a game problem. Do you have any more info that may help? If so, please file a bug report - If there is no bug report , it WILL NOT be looked at it. This is an industry standard procedure in IT - unless there is documentation in the form of an official bug report, the problem does not officially exist and will not be looked at. I am not involved in programming NMM so complaining to me won't help.
