JuJooGuppy
Your quest examples, while not good, didnt strike me as truly evil like the kid decision. Which just furthers the point there was a lack of evil / bad options in general, esp. if we can name the major examples by naming what, 4 quests?I recall in FO3 there were a lot of simple quests where you could pretty much just say "F*** you", take their caps and kill them rather than doing whatever they wanted.. then of course there was Megaton, that was the ultimate in a-hole moves, lol. Clear the town to make for a "better view" for some rich snobs haha.
Boombro
Your quest examples, while not good, didnt strike me as truly evil like the kid decisionI'm sure killing a whole lab of chemists for money and Chems is evil. hen of course there was Megaton, that was the ultimate in a-hole movesThat was evil, but dump edgy evil. It it just the worst evil option ever and just horrible writing. Fo3 was very bad black and white. They were mostly cartoonist, edgy and hardly made sense. And in the main quest, you are hardly evil. While fo4 has way less options than fo4, it a bit grayer. Let say Grim dawn, while you are fixed hero in this game, it does have good grey options. There is a side quest where a village is controlled by bandits and the villagers have to give them scraps via the one is the village. You can:Walk away.Give him your scraps.Give the npcs some of yours.Kill the bandit. You will wonder how is the last one grey. Will, in Grim dawn, killing is almost, always a bad idea. You come back in another time, the village is massacred. The only one left alive tells you that they took the village children into the bandit base, it now your task to bring them back. Fallout 4 could really use a rider faction. In far west of the map. It seems they have taken a whole town. It was nice. JuJooGuppy
I will agree to disagree on the megaton story, I quite liked it. But on a whole, yes, Fallout 4 is much more grey, especially the factions in the main story, which is awesome. However, there was a lot more white/ light grey options than black / dark grey options. Killing the bandit chemist who were selling narcotics is grey at best, certainly not straight evil / borderline evil. Just my opinion, however! Boombro
I will agree to disagree on the megaton story, I quite liked it. Hate and love is hardly a solid factor of quality since it up to taste. I love many things but hate the better ones. For one I like TES more than the witcher since I hate the PC himself, but I know they are better. I will agree to disagree on the megaton story, I quite liked it. I agree, they not 100% evil or good like TES games factions. I had to take time to think over all of them and what fits me more. However, there was a lot more white/ light grey options than black / dark grey optionI agree, and that what made fallout 4 bad. Killing the bandit chemist who were selling narcotics is grey at best, certainly not straight evil / borderline evil. Murder and black mail is kind of bad.
