simple door frames for settlement building

how is it we now have all these amazing settlement mods that add new windows and other parts, but no one has thought to make a simple door frame that can be used with the rug glitch to "repair" static doorways and set doors pretty much anywhere needed (for example, look at the outhouses in sunshine coop and spectical island...)

my mind still boggles at how Bethesda figured the only passable door frames would be made up from the most unwieldy and garish parts that are very situational dependent (you have to have the right floors or open space etc etc)

so if you settlement modders really want to make some fat endorsement bank, id say give us some reasonable door frames to work with, you would be doing the community a great service.

You can use the regular doorframes that come in vanilla along with the rug glitch to place doors in any static doorframe. Trust me, did it to all of Sanctuary. Although it is considerably easier to move the door where you'd like it to be by itself (will be outlined in red), open the console and record its xyz positions and z angle, place the door anywhere normal, then assign the placed door the recorded info. Works like a charm.

I do think there are a few mods that add doorframes, though the frames all have collision which prevents them from being able to place into existing walls without using the rug glitch anyways, I believe.

I fully agree with the OP, cant understand why Bethesda did not add this to the game in the first place??
