frederik1
Whenever I access the workshop (via button or bench), I get a CTD. Is that a known issues, and is it fixable? Also, I'm running the beta patch, because the game runs at a super low fps without it for some reason.
lowtrap
I did have the same problem yesterday. Just delete the Fallout4.ini and the Fallout4Prefs.ini under Dokuments\users\<username>\My Games\Fallout4, restart the game, it will then tell you, that it applies the settings according to your system. Exit the startmenu afterwards, enter the necessary lines for using mods into the aforementioned .inis and start the game again. It solved the problem for me. I hope, you have the same luck. lowtrap
Ah, my former post might be a bit confusing: of course the .inis you will enter the lines for using mods into will be newly build ones, not the ones you did just delete. The game builds new .inis automatically while it applies the settings according to your system.

chucksteel
Do you have any mods that edit the Workshop menu? The 1.3 beta adds a new Workshop.swf file and if you are using a mod that edit the old one you will crash when trying to open the workshop menu. this is because the the new workshop menu adds features that the old one didn't have such as the settler job info. I had to update my SouthPaw UI because of this issue. If your not sure if you are using a mod that edits the Workshop.swf then look in Data/interface for Workshop.swf. I you have one then remove it and test to see if you still have the crash.

Luckily I made a backup of the files and put those back.
chucksteel
My SouthPaw UI is also a F4SE mod that re-maps the keys for left handed people. I edited all of the menus to show the new keybinds and the old workshop menu .swf was causing a crash after the beta patch. Beth updated the beta again today so now we have to wait for a new F4SE to see what else will go wrong. :wallbash:

Until they release another patch that screws all up again that is.
chucksteel
I didn't expect an F4SE patch so fast! Thanks for the info.
