For all moders

Meh, they're mostly from fantasy shows/movies rather than historical material. I always prefer historical even if I want a more fantasy look in the end - my philosophy is that it's better to start from something real and expand than copy something fake.

Ah yes, your usual overpriced fantasy garbage. Completely unrealistic, unless your strategy is "make your opponent die from laughing too hard". Here's a hint to would-be modders: look at historical swords, not fantasy garbage. There's plenty of room for interesting designs without being completely unrealistic.

And to anyone who might think of buying one of those: don't. Unless all you want is something to hang on your wall, you're looking at a trip to the hospital. Speaking as someone who's taken classes in materials science (aka 1001 Ways Your Design Can Break), even ignoring the fact that they're probably not heat treated properly or designed with a full tang, stainless steel at sword lengths is far too brittle. The stress is just too high, even relatively light blows can snap the blade in half and send sharp steel flying off where you don't want it.

As people have said, types of swords that were used in history are always better than, for example, a 12 foot metal sculputure with a handle.

So, in a attempt to get some decent inspiration for modders, here is a website where you can see pictures of, or, if you are into that sort of thing, buy them.
