DDR0
Hi, all. I installed a bunch of mods with the Nexus Mod Manager, but they don't all seem to be being loaded by Fallout 4 itself. I did follow the instructions to edit Fallout4Prefs.ini/Fallout4Custom.ini in documents/my games/fallout 4, but that had no effect. I then edited Fallout4Prefs.ini in steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4, which made the item renaming mod start working. However; the important mod, the rename settlers mod, doesn't activate any bat files for the console. (I assume I tap `, then type bat srHelp<enter>. I did install the help when prompted by NMM.) As well, Diamond City Radio does not have more where that came from. Homemaker - Expanded Settlements just crashes the game. Thank you.
VaporWatch
May be a dumb question, but are you sure you've set up your game to be moddable?
DDR0
I'm not sure I have. As I understand it, following the instructions 1 to 9 on http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation should have made it moddable.
kirkonacid
You may be encountering the same problem I had with my missing textures. Ensure that NMM is running as an adminstrator.
DDR0
Good idea - I hadn't been running as administrator. I launched NMM as administrator, and uninstalled/reinstalled my mods. However, the problem did not go away.

I've notice 0.61.6 is taking an unreasonably long time (approximately 40 seconds for 67 mods) to load the lines into plugins.txt. I'm not exactly on a slow computer and 0.61.5 was almost instantaneous, so I'm not sure what broke in the newest update.
DDR0
I downloaded NMM earlier today; so I believe I'm using 0.61.6 for Windows 10. (I can't find the release dates anywhere, I so just assume we've had 0.61.6 for at least 24 hours.) I haven't noticed any slowdowns, but I haven't been explicitly monitoring plugins.txt either. I do have an SSD here, so it's possible it's just being speedy for NMM.

Report Filed early this morning. Fix is apparently on the way. Edited January 21, 2016 by mtylerb
kirkonacid
I can't speak to the re-name settlers mods as I've never used it myself. In past Fallout games I've used radio mods and it seemed like quite a few required additional downloads of the actual audio files, probably not your problem ,but doesn't hurt to mention it. I've not encountered issues with Homemaker either. Are these the only mods you're currently trying to use or just the only mods not working?
