  1. Am I posting in the wrong area? Is there a better place to ask these questions?
  2. Please note this is a cross/duplicate post. I'm pretty sure the last forum I posted this in was the wrong place and nobody there is able to help, so here goes again. Hey guys, I tried my hand at creating my own ESP with a combination of DX Commonwealth Shorts Digital and Net outfits and JC-Bikini outfit underneath. After getting everything packaged and functional using FO4Edit, Nifskope, Materials Editor and Bodyslide and having it all merged into one ESP with supporting files in their appropriate folders, I have an invisible body when I put the outfit on. Let's be honest, I have little to no idea what I'm doing or how to actually create a mod, but I figured if I copied from someone else's mod into my own personal mod to get some practice, I'd at least have an idea of what's going on. After a little messing around and changing all the referenced files and removing the other mods as masters, FO4 finally stopped crashing. I can successfully create the outfit at the Chemistry station and dropping it on the ground shows the correct item. But once I pick it up and equip it, I'm not naked, I'm just a floating head/hands/feet/jetpack. So obviously I've done something wrong, but I don't know where to start. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Tyler
  3. The only patch that should be required is the "Full Integration" patch during the install process. Since you're not using SSEx anymore, that patch isn't required. Just Homemaker, you can disable the bunkers/capsules/greenhouses/industrial (usually only if you're using another mod that supplies them like Snap'n Build) you can enable Institute Objects (since you're using SK, use the SK version) if you wish to unlock them even while not allied with the institute (prior to running the mission or if you manage to piss them off and lose alliance later). Then there's just the acknowledgement, which you can select or not. These instructions weren't in order, by the way.
  4. Anyone willing to help a rookie modder?
  5. Like yzerman19 said, SSEx should be removed. It's no longer maintained and everything in it is also in Homemaker 1.32d. Settlement Keywords should be first on the list followed by AWKCR (if you have it installed) followed by Homemaker.esm. You also need to have the full integration patch installed for Homemaker to work with SK. I have a feeling your problem is SSEx, I would start there. But, just in case can you open your C:\Users\<UserID>\AppData\Local\Fallout 4\plugins.txt file and paste the load order here?
  6. You can find the ID's with the ShowQuestTarget (sqt) command. They won't make much sense, but keep in mind that they tend to follow a specific trend. Railroad quests will be RR101, RR102, etc. Brotherhood of Steel will be BoS101, BoS102, etc. You can then take the ID's in the console and type sqo RR101 to see if you've got the right quest ID. For Glowing Sea it should be a MQ (Main Quest) number.
  7. Have you tried installing another Eye mod like Jesters or Eyes of Beauty?

  9. Bump. Anyone?
  10. The instructions calls for a Fallout4Custom.ini but there are only two files besides "Saves": "Fallout4" and "Fallout4prefs" The "Fallout4 file has the string that used to be used to enable mods, but I see it is not scratched out/obsolete. What am I doing wrong? I just got this new PC started up, and I've never used Win10 before, so I might be lost, but I didn't have any problems before this using Win7. Please help. Thanks. Are you looking in C:\Users\<User ID>\Documents\My Games\Fallout 4\?
  11. Check to make sure that Homemaker's meshes have actually been put into the Data folder. For some reason NMM seems to be having issues with that particular Mod. For me, 1.31c meshes and textures were transferred, but in 1.31d, they weren't. Just a matter of manually downloading the mod (if this is the case) and copy/paste the folders into the Data directory.
  12. I'm running 2 SSDs, one for the OS and one for my games/mods. So I don't believe the hard drive setup is an issue. Report Filed early this morning. Fix is apparently on the way.
  13. What version of NMM are you using? I've notice 0.61.6 is taking an unreasonably long time (approximately 40 seconds for 67 mods) to load the lines into plugins.txt. I'm not exactly on a slow computer and 0.61.5 was almost instantaneous, so I'm not sure what broke in the newest update.
  14. You can, but NMM has to run with Admin privileges. I have a very similar setup on my computer with my OS running on the M.2 SSD and my gaming harddrive on a Samsung 1TB SSD. Unfortunately I wasn't paying attention when I installed Steam and FO4 ended up installed on the OS SSD. I had NMM install on the gaming SSD and had to setup the special settings for it running on a separate drive along with granting Admin UCP privileges in the compatibility settings. I'm running Win 10 Pro, but I seem to remember Win 7 having a similar UCP setup, just a little less strict. EDIT: The Screwdriver/Wrench icon at the top-> Change Virtual Folders... "Enable Multi-HD install mode" then specify a folder in the newly opened text box for files that HAVE to be installed on the same installation drive as the game. The rest will be put in the folder above.
