Just-in-time debugging

Hi,

Did not now where to put this,think it`s a half mod-problem half tec-problem so i

hope some one can help me..

 

I have some mods in my game and never had any problems ( not big ones ) untill

today when i installd "Operation Optimization", i almost did`t install it becouse

my game did run ok,just wanted some more FPS ....

 

Now when i start the game it crash just when Bethesda-logo turns up and the

screen turns black, and this text turns up :

 

"An unhandled win32 exception occured in Oblivion.exe[3360]. Just-In-Time-debugging this exception failed with the following error: No installed Debugger has Just-In Time debugging enabled. In Visual Studio, Just-In-Time debugging can be enabled from Tools/Options/Debugging/Just-In-Time.

So what to do...?????

Hope some one here can help me with this problem........

Operation Optimization is outdated, and really isn't all that effective. With some of the new tools available, you can get much better results.... just takes some time.

 

It sounds a lot like a missing master crash. Post your current load list please.

Did uninstall "Operation Optimization" but that did not help,still crashes...........

Where is Oblivion.esm? Might wanna try BOSS on your load order, also, might want to install wrye bash. The mods window can be most informative, it will tell you exactly which mod is missing masters, if any.

streamline 3.0 is geologically out of date

 

and BOSS tells you this

 

therefore we are required to conclude that you have never read the BOSS report and therefore have never tried to correct problems it detects.

 

Correct this oversight and try again

Hhhmm... didn't show up in your posted list. :D

 

Seems OO only comes as an executable installer... so, no real way from me to pull it apart, and see just what exactly it is doing. You could try reinstalling it....... that may work, assuming you are using vista, or win7, and have the game installed to the default directory? But, instead of just double clicking on it to fire it off, right click on it, and select Run as Admin. Don't know if that will help or not...... Worth a shot?

yes i now it`s out of date,but i never had any problem with "streamline 3.0" and i did uninstall

that to and that did not help,as i sad the problem started after installing "Operation Optimization"

so i did uninstall both OO and Streamline,and it did not help...

 

HeyYou : Yes i have Vista,and i dont put any of my games in Data/program so i dont have to

run as an Admin...And i did try to reinstalling it, did not fix the problem do..

Might want to pick up on Universal Extractor then, disassemble the installer for OO, and see exactly what it does...... and nuke any leftovers in your data directory. Aside from that.... you may be looking at a reinstall. If you have to go that route, make sure you delete the install directory, and the one in my games.

 

as a side though, you might try deleting your oblivion.ini in the my games\oblivion folder, and see if that makes any difference.

ok,i will have a look at all this and see what to do,

but reinstall Oblivion dont sound`s fun do :wallbash:

And if i delete the ini file will Oblivion run..???
