Frehley5
Because the default body meshes/textures are absolute rubbish, I use some body mods... Robert's Male Body Replacer v4HG Eyecandy Body F-Inev Oblivion SkinsetI also use Natural Faces My problem is not seams (I know there is no way to get rid of those) but discoloration between the face of NPCs and their bodies. The face will be one color, while the body color is always the same for each race, respectively. Is there any way to fix this?
Telyn
Please post a picture of the most dramatic example if you can. I can't tell how different the color is. Some color variation between face and body is normal and virtually unavoidable, but it shouldn't be a blue face and black body, for example. Also, does the color change depending on whether or not the characters have clothes on? There are some mods that help with seams but first let's see what this looks like. Hickory
Your problem is most likely Natural Faces and the skinset not fully matching up . My suggestion is to remove Natural Faces and install these, in this order (important): Improved Facial TexturesImproved Argonian Facial TexturesFacial Textures by Enayla And use HDR in-game. Frehley5
Thanks for the replies. I was planning to attach a screenshot but I couldn't reduce the size. The color change is not very dramatic, no black bodies or other glitchiness. The only thing that really stands out is that high elves seem to use the imperial texture, despite being yellow, but I don't think that's a mod problem. I'll follow Hickory's advice and see if that helps. I shouldn't need any more help. Thanks again.
Telyn
Just in case it doesn't, and Hickory is usually right, you might want to look at the comments section for Navetsea's skinset. Other people have had similar problems with it.I've used both IFT at one point and Natural Faces at the moment, with Enayla's facial textures. Both worked for me, but I was not using Navetsea's skinset. Navetsea has been a modder for a long time and I believe that skin is a conversion/update of a Navetsea Sims 2 skin. Beautiful skin but some other people posted comments pretty similar to yours.

Their skintone is simply done by Facegen tone sliders. If you disabled Facegen texture by editing Oblivion.ini, or overwrote .egt files with Luchaire's reduced seams or Optimized Oblivion Facegen ones, you will have such issue.
