Not sure why game CTDs while loading a game.

I used TES3Edit to clean all the mods that BOSS told me to. Still crashes when I load a save/create a new game.

 

Are you proficient in cleaning mods with TES4Edit? I ask because if you are not, you can destroy a mod totally if you don't know what you are doing -- that is a very powerful tool.

 

Do you use OBSE? If you do, try installing the weOCPS and Fast Exit plugins and start a new game from scratch. With those few mods, Oblivon should not be crashing on a new game.

I do use OBSE. The mods didn't fix it... I'm going to see if it will load without mods active. If not I'll reinstall and start again.

Delete you oblivion.ini located in my games\oblivion. Try the game again.
