Growlf's Animated Hair, some hairs invisible

Recommended Posts

Like the title says, some of the hairs are invisible. I can see them on my character in the inventory screen, but once I close the inventory they are invisible. I read that this might have something to do with shaders or something. Any ideas?

EDIT: the hairs show up if i go to the console and type in tlb. however, if i do it again they dissapear, so obviously this has something do do with lights/shaders

Try reading the instructions:

It seems some nVidia card users have problems with visibility of wigs if HDR or Bloom is activated.

If this happens try to deactivate it for proper working of the mod or to update your drivers.

i did read the instructions. i neither have a nvidia card, nor do i have hdr or bloom activated. thank you for your "help". are you surprised that your condescening notion that i didn't read the instructions was completely unwarrented? now i will wait for a reply that contains useful information.

EDIT by LHammonds: Based on what you posted in your 1st post, you did not indicate this known problem did not affect you and as such, the post was helpful from everyone's viewpoint other than you...who withheld that knowledge. This is borderline flamebaiting and if you cannot handle people trying to be helpful, please don't post questions here.

If my reply seemed to you to be 'condescening' (sic) I assure you that is was not meant to be, however I will say that I sincerely hope you read English better than you write it, whether it be your native tongue or not.

Seems you aren't the only one that has this issue..... and I don't see where there was ever a fix presented either. Others don't seem to have a problem with it. Given your findings with TLB, I wonder if swapping to the 3.0 shaders would make any difference for you?

It was condescending. Just like the response you gave just now. It's okay though, since seeing some of your other posts I can see it's just a habit you have... being condescending and unhelpful. I wasn't surprised when I wasn't the only one who thought so either. It's nothing new to me, of course; I used to play World of Warcraft, and their forums are absolutely saturated with folks like you. Also, I apologize if my English isn't perfect; it is my second language after all.

EDIT by LHammonds: The person that tried to help you said in no uncertain terms that he did not mean for it to come across as condescending, yet you won't let your attitude subside and instead decide fan the flames a bit more.

STRIKE #1 issued to you for flaming.

I would advise that you review the following threads:

I found a fix that involves NifSkope where you go in to each individual file, right click on the alpha property, hit flags, and uncheck Enable Blending. This actually made the hairs that were allready visible look even better, so it's a pretty super fix.

Nope, not biting, sorry.

No idea what you're talking about, but your response doesn't surprise me.

EDIT by LHammonds: He is talking about not playing your flame war that you so eagerly seem to want. If he did retaliate, I would be issuing strikes to him as well. Are you getting the picture now?
