Vindekarr
Yeah, well what PS3 exclusives are there anyway anymore, none I'm interested in, even without the security issues, which will mean even less exclusives because frankly, people arent going to want to be seen as working with this dead horse. It beggars belief just how miserable Sony's response has been-I remember when the Xbox Live service was hacked-hardly anyone else does because the system was only down for a few minutes. Oh sorry, we kinda had our service break, but we arent gonna fix it anytime soon, oh by the way, somehackersaccidsently77,000,000IDsincludingyourskthanksbai" Good old Playstation Notwork. Luminiari
Playstation Notwork. I lol'd so hard. There are still thousands of loyal fans out there who will continue to support Sony despite these shenanigans. To some degree I'm lumped in with them (biiiiiiig fan of Final Fantasy, derp). At the same time, to blame all of this entirely on Sony is going too far. YES, they cocked up. YES, their security is utter crap. YES, I may or may not, like tens of millions of other people around the world, become a victim of identity theft and/or credit fraud. But the blame should be shared between Sony and the rat bastard(s) who hacked into the PSN in the first place. And I sure hope that when they find the responsible party, justice will be served. Until then, I'm still going to play FFVIII on my PSP, and MGS4 on my PS3, and wait for my copy of Mortal Kombat to come in.

Vindekarr
Desu-Dont thank me, I didnt make that up, it was actualy a guy trolling on FunnyJunk.com who came up with it, but I agree, it's a good one. Truth be told I wish Sony the best with this, I'm very unlikely to buy another new Sony console unless it's an absolute gamechanger but that doesnt mean I dont feel sympathy for the folks this has caught out-Im just explaining, jkust 'cause I dont own a PS3, but do have a great deal of affection for the Xbox lineage, doesnt mean I dont feel sorry for PS3 owners, and doesnt mean I dont hope it gets fixed asap, Thor, if you're looking for a game to fill GT5's niche, try Need For Speed Shift 2, it initialy made me want to tear my hair out in hatred, but I've warmed to it immensely now my new PC hardware takes out the steering bug. It's a superlative game, fitting neatly into it's own niche straddling the divide between to hardcore and true casual. Either the hardest PC racer available, or the easiest depending on settings, it's a gem that I'd recomend to anyone on the caveat that they use a beastly PC(Shift takes nearly as much juice as Bad Company to run smoothely, and it needs to run smoothe or you get the EVIL steering intertia bug that'll send yopu spinning) It's also got pretty good aesthetic customisation: sometimes you'll get a datacorrupt that will erase your designs, but they're very quick to apply new ones, and free, so it's not a huge thing, I do most of mine < 5 minutes. Lastly, you will need to do some tweaking if you intend to run a Rear Wheel Drive car, most of them are as easy to ride as a bronotsaurus until you tweak the Camber and stiffen the spings to the centre of the bar. Thor.
The One thing that GT5 excels at is that its almost nearly identical to the driving of a real car. With rr like the Delorean makes a good drift car woot.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif Proof is in the moviehttp://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif Oh and here is some more ps3 psn news http://www.qj.net/ps...mpensation.html Second in gt5 rr is very difficult to drive like the ruffs have the tendency to fish tail a lot.Hmm Shift is a good benchmark Sweet, might pick it up, does it use dx 10 or 11, not sure. My OC'ed stable cards need a work ouut, crysis has been mastered at 60fps with v.sync. Also with Ultra high settings, with custom textures to boothttp://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif. Edited April 29, 2011 by Thor. Thandal
For players who like GTA, there seems to be some trouble keeping this thread on the "PSN getting hacked??" road. (Nice swerve in the middle there to keep it from going over the curb completely. Feel free to start a new "GTA5 is Awzum!" discussion. )

People trusted Sony with their personal details and Sony didn't even bother encrypting them, they deserve no sympathy at all. An analogy... If I went out leaving my front door wide open and got burgled, most people would quite rightly think I should have locked of door but friends and neighbours would generally be sympathetic. Now imagine instead I had convinced my friends and neighbours to store their valuables in my house before I went out leaving the front door open and getting burgled, how much sympathy would I get then? Sony were incompetent and deserve everything they have coming to them.
