And make sure that Expanded Settlement Buildings is the uncategorized version of that mod and that Snap'n Build is v1.5 + the SK-port, cause else disabling its .esp's will render SnB completely useless.

Hi! Thank you for the info and warning, because I installed the categorized version of this mod, now I've installed uncategorized version.

Hello.

IMPORTANT: I forgot to tell you that I am using Fallout 4's new patch (1.2) since 4 days.

What I have done:

1) Uninstalled (completely deleted) ALL mods in Nexus Mod Manager.

2) installed ALL mods I already had before, new.

3) NOT installed mods are in the "spoiler" section of your post (in red color).

4) Added NEW mods:

- TruestormsFO4.esp (installed (copied) manually, NOT within NMM)

- Noteracks.esp

- More detailed perk description.esp

- SpringCleaning.esp

5) I started the game. Before the game loaded my save, it crashed to desktop.

6) I read on Nexus forum about my problem (in the "True Storms" mod section).

I found that it could has to do with new new Fallout 4 game patch (1.2).

7) Added in NMM options under Fallout 4, in "Command" line this: " Fallout4Launcher.exe ".

8) Started again. Crash again.

9) My save was in Sanctuary city. I took another, earlier save where my character was NOT in Sanctuary.

10) Game started normal. I took on the map Sanctuary to move automatically to that place. It worked!

11) I began to build. In build menu, I could build normal but after a short time game crashed to desktop again.

I'm still trying to see what the issue could be. I have to play awhile before I can tell you if I can play normal or not and will add screenshots.

Try removing Homemaker and it's patches. If your game works, you are welcome. If there is still a CTD, then remove Project Commonwealth. I know, it will be a big hit, but, you are overlapping Project Commonwealth and Alternate Settlements. There could be a conflict there, as well.

Don't use the beta update unless you plan on actively submitting bug reports (which would probably not be accepted due to you using mods), or if you're ready to accept save busting and whatever else happens.

As for your issues - new SnB offers different options, update and see if you wanna add more stuff from it. Also.. afraid your save might be broken (I had one save lost to a CTD upon exiting a certain cell in Sanctuary, and most likely happened due to the beta patch and some of the mods I used). In all cases, be ready to ditch saves no matter how old. Pre-CK mods are not stable or finished, and results from using them may vary.

This is a long term troubleshooting technique:

If you keep getting CTDs, try on a new saves with all these mods. If crash is not happening, then save is lost. If crash happens, remove all mods and test without mods. If still crashing on a new save, then get rid of beta and test again. Once you have found a stable configuration, start testing mods one by one. I suggest you disable all plugins, then enable half of them (top half, bottom half) and see if you still crash in workshop mode. IF you don't, disable currently enabled plugins and enable half of the previously disabled ones. Keep going like this until you found the mod that makes your game crash.

Thank you for the info and warning, but...

What will/would happen when I deactivate "Homemaker" and "Project Commonwealth"?

What will happen to my stuff (things to build) in build mode?

I am not an expert in modding or using mods. I'm new at this (using mods).

I did not know that the game patch is in beta.

"Snap and Build": I'm doing updates in NMM every day before I close Nexus Mod Manager. Do I need manual install too for SnB?

Do you mean I should start clean new game? I could do it even so I have to do all the quests and building again.

I did it before, more times. I started completely new after I had crash or other issues.

But for now, game works (I played minutes ago). BUT:

When I leave in build mode the GREEN area, my game crashes.

Could it has to do with the mods I do not use anymore?

These mods:

Sanctuary Build Area Expanded.esp
Red Rocket Expanded Build Area.esp
The Castle Expanded.esp

The Slog Build Area Expanded.esp

When I had these mods installed I could leave the green area and build far away from the green area.

They would be lost.

Haven't heard of that issue before, but the closest guess surely would be the mods you named. Shouldn't happen on a clean save after disabling/removing these. If it still does, it has another cause.
