Newbie Trouble on Applying a Mod

Hello every one i'm a newbie here :)

I have a trouble when i tried to apply the mod manually..

I copied the textures and meshes of the mod to my data folder... (And the esp file of course)

I checked the mod name on the data files but nothing changed..

The only working mod that I installed manually is ren's beauty pack..

But when the uploader give the omod conversion data and I aply it using obmm its working..

Then i tried to apply the mod without omod conversion data using obmm and it's still the same, nothing changed..

Any solution ??

There's your solution, right there. I don't understand the rest of your post considering that one line.

Ok to put it simple..

I can only apply the mod that includes omod conversion data folder inside it's archieve..

And i can't apply any mod manually without that folder..

And you know many mods doesn't have that fodler included..

For example i tried to apply "Ageha Tortured Soul HGEC fixed" mods manually and it wasn't working..

When i tried apply it using obmm it still the same..

But when i applied the "HGEC more revealing standard armor" mod (this mod has omod conversion data folder included) using obmm, its worked..

Need Solution

I see your problem now. What you have to understand is that not all mod authors pack their files in the same manner, so OBMM will not create proper OMODs from some archives. Taking your problem mod, Ageha tortured soul HGEC as an example, the author has packaged it in this folder structure:

\Ageha tortured soul HGEC 0.7\data\...

Many authors will package their mods as:

\data\...

The standard version of OBMM will have problems with any such archives. The answer is to use OBMM Extended which not only overcomes most folder structure issues, but will automatically download relevent OMOD information from TESNexus if required.

The other solutions is to always look at the folder structure and to understand how Oblivion mods must work. ALL mods must go directly into your \Oblivion\Data\ folder, so that it ends up like:

\Oblivion\Data\Meshes\..

\Oblivion\Data\Textures\..

\Oblivion\Data\Sound\...

\Oblivion\Data\NAMEOFMOD.esp

I've just tried that..

When I apply the "babe hair" mod, it asked me to download 3 item from TESNexus..

So i downloaded them..

But it still did't work..

The folder structure are :

D:\Elder Sroll IV Oblivion\Data\Textures\babe

D:\Elder Sroll IV Oblivion\Data\Meshes\babe

D:\Elder Sroll IV Oblivion\Data\mod.esp

I really don't understand 'bout this

Did you read the readme? There are two plugins for Babe Hair. One for the German game (babehair_DV.esp) and one for the English game (babehair_EV.esp). You have to activate one, but only one, of those plugins.

Are you using a previous saved game? Try starting from fresh. If you have installed everything correctly, and in it's place, then there is no reason for those hairs and races to not appear. If you start a new game and still have the problems, post your load order here, and please paste it inside ["spoiler"]["/spoiler] tags without the quotes.

-Ren_Soya_KD's.esp

-_Ren_BeautyPack_full + Soya's hair.esp

-babehair_DV.esp (unchecked)

-babehair_EV.esp
