liverlona
I can run Fallout 3 perfectly fine without mods. However when I add mods the game no longer can run. I used this tutorial (Video link underneath) and when I add a mod it won't work. (I added Apocalypse Armory and Project Beauty using his method). So can someone help me so I can get mods working with the game? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMRu3oDmq3M Extra information: I do have ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. It also states that it may be a problem with bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 which may not work for my laptop which is an Acer. I also have Windows 7. Daledge
Well how did you obtain your disc? Because if you obtained it through piracy/torrents, which I should point out is not allowed on the site, it may not work. And it would help if you posted your directory path. I bought it from the store GAME. My directory is C:\Users\Brandon\Fallout 3 I don't know if that's the right place for it but I heard that it may not work in Program files so I thought it'd be the safer option. Daledge
Did you originally install it into Program Files or did you realise after the initial installation and then copy + pasted everything or install it directly there? And I can't be sure but something just doesn't seem right about that directory..

Well do you mind posting your directory and then I could reinstall Fallout in a similar directory.
Daledge
I don't have Fallout 3 on the PC but I'm trying to use my knowledge of modding Oblivion to help. I'll post it anyway, but bear in mind you have to do a full reinstall to change your directory, you can't just copy/paste. I used this to reinstall Oblivion, it may work for you. My directory for Oblivion is: C:\Libraries\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Data.
liverlona
Well I installed it on that directory and was working for a little bit, until I installed the mod Apocalypse Armory but now I've uninstalled it but Fallout doesn't work now. I'll post my Mod order in a moment.
cavveman
First of all. I recommend you re-install your game. And let it have the standard place for the game which is C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3Secondly, update your game to 1.7.

cavveman
Well. The mod "Apocalypse Armory" needs version 1.7And usually it's always best to use the standard placeAlso, are you using Fallout Mod Manager?
