Sounds like an interesting challenge Vindekarr! I may have to take it on!

My first character is almost always my best, in Oblivion I didn't know much so I pretty much just winged it and went with my gut feeling in every situation without paying attention to consequences or rewards. I'm scared that in Skyrim I'll be tempted to use the console or check the wiki, but I plan on blocking the wiki until I'm satisfied with my accomplishments on my character.

I actually hope that with the new engine console commands are either completely gone or not available in vanilla Skyrim. If I have to do some complex notepad editing I'll be less inclined to use the developer console than if all I had to do was press ~.

I'm going to use wikis after a while to see what places and quests I missed. I'll do all the big things "blind", though.

Play with your monitor inverted vertically.

Play with your monitor turned off and role play as a blind hero.

Ooor... turn of all sound and subtitles.

Really, these things should have achievements, not stuff like getting through the tutorial.

Wow, it's sad to think that people see this as a challenge...

How about a real challenge...

1).No modding the game before you start playing it.

2).Play using only your fists as a weapon

3).Don't use the world map... ever.

4).Play with a high bounty and quit if you ever get caught.

5).No spell usage beyond beginner level spells or ones which are absolutely required for a specific event.

6).Play naked, in a warm room, on a vinyl chair.

I accept challenge number six, effective immediately.

I would also like to add my own challenge: Make a Banksy-esque graffiti painting on the mountainside of High Hrothgar using only the bodies of dead NPCs.

Instead of playing with NO mods, how about only playing with 1 mod. Doesn't matter if it's made by you or downloaded from someone else. It would probably be called "Reign of Fire" though. But basically, all the mod would do is increase the amount of dragons/dragon spawn points by a multiple of 10 or more from the default game. That way, rather than being stalked by a dragon (allegedly a big deal), you get to contend with 10 or more of them. Play the game otherwise how you normally would, no need for restrictions on armor, weapon, skills, etc., but naturally with no cheating.

You probably wouldn't be able to kill many, if any, dragons, unless you managed to get lucky and find one alone. So you'd mainly just be running and hiding (if you can) from them. Going through dungeons, traveling, and stopping in a town would all be done with the knowledge that a dragon would be hunting you soon, if you weren't already fleeing. With so many dragons, the towns and cities would probably only last so long, eventually being razed to the ground entirely, so buying and selling by mid-game would be a thing of the past, or at least only done with the hidden merchants in the remote crevices of the mountains. But this is all assuming you can last that long. You'll want a character who can run REALLY fast, hide easily and be able to take some inevitable fly-by hits/burns from dragons. If the game has quick mounts, that would be a priority (just hope it doesn't get eaten while you explore a cave or something). Also, if important NPCs turn out to be non-invincible, many of them would probably die, so quest completion could be difficult.

Frankly, I find this concept quite intriguing, although I'm not sure if I'd *seriously* try to play through the game like that (at least not with THAT much of a dragon increase). But just as a challenge to see how far I could get, I think it would be pretty hilarious (and exhilarating).
