kevkiev
After the patch today, I CTD'd when checking the workshop section of the Pipboy. Next startup, that worked okay (kinda weird), but I then CTD'd when I went into workshop mode and started browsing through "Miscellaneous" under wooden structures. A few startups later, I CTD'd just running around Sanctuary (which has all sorts of modded-in structures added.) Here's my load orderhttp://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh70/diggermats/NMM%20Load%20Order%20Feb%201%202016_zpsadlmglfv.jpg Just wondering if anyone's had this problem with similar mods and has identified the culprit. I'll try and find some time for troubleshooting later on but, for now, I just reverted back to the pre-patch .exe files (I always make copies when I know a patch is imminent) and the game seems to be working fine. Cheers, K
Boombro
1-turn turning off weapon debris.2-remove ini files.3-Do you have gore overhaul, scrape everything?
kevkiev
Thx for the reply. But how do I turn off weapon debris? (I didn't see anything like that in the "Settings" menu when running the patched exe's) By removing the ini files, do you mean just deleting them completely so the game rebuilds them when I run it? And, no, I don't have gore overhaul or scrap everything.
Boombro
Just remove them. And so you are an AMD user I guess? I can't see them too. Edited February 1, 2016 by Boombro
kevkiev
I have an NVidia Card - found the debris thing in the game options on the load screen but it was turned off already. I deleted the INIs, but just got an error message that FO4 couldn't find an INI file and I had to reinstall the game. I'll try verifying game cache to see if that rebuilds them. poyt10
Just remove them. And so you are an AMD user I guess? I can't see them too.Backed up and removed my ini files. No change aside from resetting the settings (that I only saw briefly before CTDing).

kevkiev
Disabling armorsmith extended seems to have solved this problem for me--not sure why it's causing issues yet Wow, that's maybe the one mod, along with Home Maker, that I thought was okay. I deleted my INI's and verified game cache (told me 2 files were missing/ would be reaquired) and got some total weirdness. First thing I noticed was that my body (equipped with Kerrigan Bodysuit and Nano Armor) was invisible, and all the stuff I'd built with Snap & Build was missing. (The Home Maker stuff seemed to be okay.) I unequipped the Kerrigan Body Suit and was wearing underwear, and could equip vanilla outfits fine. However, nano armor was invisible when it was equipped, with the Kerrigan Bodysuit and with a vanilla outfit. Same routine when I tried the nanosuit. Equipping vanilla combat armor along with cage armor worked fine, so I thought Armorsmith Extended is okay. (Although I still ended up CTD'g so who who knows...) But then I noticed that all my texture mods weren't working (and I have a ton of them). Retextured store fronts, radios, etc... etc.... everything was back to vanilla. I'm very baffled about that. Consider me uber-confused!

I had to re-enable some mods, like full dialogue, maybe the same for textures?

Not sure if it's important, but I had to uninstall amorsmith extended to fix the CTD as disabling them didn't seem to help--for what it's worth
