The End

So, lo and behold :blush:, Stalker didn't become the beautiful maiden it was once supposed to be. Instead of a dark and furious srvival-shooter, it became a lame copy of Boiling Point: Road to Hell (except the mutants though).

 

The first thing I thought was: "Holy sh*t, I'm gonna crap myself with these hot graphics! And with all these mutants running around, it's gonna be hard to survive!"

 

But I didn't, and I survived.

 

Well, almost :blush: .

We all thought that Stalker would be a real survival game, with mutants running around, a gameworld as large as morrowind, humans being scarce, and survival largely dependant on your reputation with all the other stalkers.

And what did we get? A lame copy of Boiling Point: Road to Hell (I mentioned that before, didn't I?)

 

And what about the ending? Was it satisfying?

Was it satisfying to save the world from mad scientists? And what about the Monolith? A machine meant to bend people to its will? About how many of you got the "Money" ending?

 

 

Lets hear your opinion. I think that the game is great and all, but it could have been better (especially the gamplay).

 

 

Oh, and can anyone translate what the Monolith is saying at Chernobyl? You know: "Madiyk kam njeu"/whatever? Its been bugging me ever since!

I didn't play it through to the end, in the end. I got to the part where the zombies began to become more prevalent and put the towel in; got pretty boring around that part.

Ah, the best part (in my opinion) in the game! Bonewalkers, Corprus victims, and Golden Saints pale in comparison against the zombies in Stalker! I can still hear them in my head... :ph34r:

 

The first time I encountered them, I almost crap myself! :happy:

 

And I like the new spoiler function, instead of writing with big letters: "SPOILER WARNING"
