I don't know why, could be my fault(my PC literacy is far from perfect)

I downloaded Midas Magic Spells of Aurum in under a minute. It seems pretty fast to me.

local in chicago, getting about 300-400 KB/s over a 47 MB file download. not too shabby.

File download was VERY fast. 213-249 kb/s, normally it's around 30-50 from other servers.

Very good download speed on small files (2-10MB) reached my DSL limit of 300KB per second

On large files (> 10 MB) seem like some kind of caching going on, first part is fast then delay of 10-30 seconds and fast again.

 

I am downloading from CT (06770).

I've responded before, saying Chi-town is good.

 

However, one thing I've noticed is that using FF v2.0.0.4, and the FlashGot add-on to call FlashGet, the file name being transferred is "download.php" The correct filename is showing up in the comment field - cut and paste resolves things. Just wondering if something is not being transferred correctly. I should mention I'm not certain this is limited to the new server.

 

This has been happening for a couple of weeks - i.e., since I've returned to Oblivion and TesSource.

The system is coded to try and prevent people from using download managers/accelerators deliberately.
