Bazerk83 Posted May 3, 2011 Share Posted May 3, 2011 Ok so first some info. I've installed Oblivion GOTY edition (retail) I've installed UOP and the hotfix + UOSIP. I've also installed some mods along with the neccesary extras. I've installed OBMM, Wyre Bash and OBSE & BOSS Below is my list of mods in the Wyre Bash order. I've updated the masterlist and ran boss with each addition of a mod. I've merged the mergeable patches and rebuilt the batch file. I've followed the installation instructions and requirements for every mod TO THE LETTER. I added FCOM + OOO 3.7 + MMM + Warcry along with some other mods. I assure you I have installed everything as I was told to and right after the Vanilla install I defragged my hard drive, and rebooted. Everything seems to be loaded and running perfectly. Ok, so the problem I'm having is. My character moves at a slow walking pace in all directions. I hit the CAPS lock button and the character runs forward at the ideal speed perfectly fine but when moving backwards it moves at the same speed as forward for a SLIGHT moment and then moves back at a slow walking pace. I want to be able to walk at a good speed. The normal default speed of the game when you first start out. I then discovered in my journal that my speed attribute had gone down to -168 (-208) . Then I look again and it's back to the default 40 (this is starting from new game in prison) I move forward and back and then i look again, still 40, then move forward and back a 3rd time and it's gone back to -168 (-208). I know that usually this kind of penalty is because of something I'm carrying but I've only got the clothes and irons you start with in prison and in the misc. section is just the ooo access menu and the my torch hotkey option thing. Does anyone possibly know what could be causing this. Is it a specific mod? an ini edit? please tell me i can fix this without having to start the installs of everything all over again. I know it may not seem like a huge issue but i don't want to go the whole game with my speed att. being stuck on that. Which it will because i've tried to change it with console commands and it just reverts back afterward. I've tried using the OOO in-game menu to reset my stats but that doesn't work either. please help! below is my wyrebash load order and a picture of obmm omods loaded. Excalibuurr Posted May 3, 2011 Share Posted May 3, 2011 It is most probably a mod that makes you move backwards slower than moving forwards, and the attribute thing could have gotten stuck, I believe it may be a mod that perhaps alters combat. Bazerk83 Posted May 3, 2011 Author Share Posted May 3, 2011 it turns out after a little research that it's caused by frans levelled creatures mod. i really would like to keep it AND find a cure for both the reduced running backwards AND the random drop of my speed stat from 40 to -168! if anyone can help i would be so very grateful! If you hadn't pointed me in the right direction about it being Frans I wouldn't have discovered my mistake. Which was that I had accidentally included Optional Combat Settings.esp back when I had installed the OMOB-SI. After simply deleting it and re-running Wyrebash everything is perfect.
