alewolf
I am Roleplaying the Dragonborn building a organization to fight the various nasties in Skyrim. So I am quickly going to blow the 15 or 5 follower cap space that I get with UFO or Amazing Followers. I am looking at both of the mods and I love features from each, the cap number will be a must for me.. So I was trying to ascertain how followers work for sure. I am assuming that the number is set by total followers and not those that are in your company. I am assuming that if I assigned a home to a follower and dismiss them they will stay at the home... Thus I can reacquire them later>? I am hoping they do not return to there original home, I really don't want to have to chase them down. Also will any of the follower expansions allow me to keep more with UFO or Amazing follower? How hard would it be to edit the number in the file (for personal use of course) etc... Nyquist
Your assumption is wrong as far as the cap goes. 15 or 5 follower cap is the maximum of npcs that can follow you at any given time. Extensive follower framework has a cap of 100. But the implementation of followers in Skyrim is wonky. They may disappear or not follow you. I am not sure about assigned homes. That is on per mod basis since I never needed the feature.
TonyOQuinn
My Home is Your Home will allow you to assign a follower to a house (or any area). They go where you assign them when dismissed and stay there.Follower Live Package has an interesting feature where you could assign followers squads, each squad has a squad leader. Personally I haven't used it, only use one or two followers at most. Theoretically FLP allows you to have several squads of several followers. FLP is compatible with MHIYH and Amazing Follower Tweaks, with a plugin for AFT.
