  1. For this particular conflict the red backgroud indicates conflict and the green text indicates conflict winner record. You should clean your masters before doing conflict resolution. Also after that any cleaning or conflicts appearing in the official dlc ca be ignored. Honestly in thisi case the last record wins. Thus no problems.

  3. I concur. You need to post a load order. This is not a bug, it seems like a feature. Some mods increase some types of skills through just running. I think SPERG had options like these.
  4. Do you use any racial mods? They sometimes have their own custom textures in a different location that the default ones. So overwriting normal textures should have no effect.
  5. Well I checked and indeed it does not seem like it came from that lod mod... But it is really jarring like it takes you really out of the experience I hope it fixes itself, because this is a brand new character so i didn't think such a thing would creep up at all...
  6. I am not using either Tes5LODgen or Dyndolog due to othe overhead and not really being annoyed at the bad graphics. However I am using High Quality LODs that overwrites the USLEEP file "tamriel.4.-20.8.btr". I will try disabling it and see how it goes. BTW thank you for bringing this to my attention and taking your time to answer. Would have never thought it is a lod issue...
  7. Hello it seems that I have a very weird issue that I have difficulty pinpointing. Currently I have very straight lines that show where each texture tile ends and begins. This was made in Whiterun so it seems like there are some whiter texture variants that are loaded but that maybe shouldn't be. Actually I would be very happy is someone could maybe tell me what texture it is maybe and if it is even a texture issue? Solution: I my case the reason for the bug was due to me using ENB and having steam overlay. By disabling steam overlay everything works perfectly.
  8. I would ask foremost to tell which mod manager you are using. Secondly try an alt start mod and have you run FNIS? If you start by using an alternative start mod, does it work?
  9. Just an information, @manchuligans si wrong on one account. You have a plugin limit of 256. However not all mods contain plugins. So you can go up to 400 mods as I have while still using less than 200 plugins. Texture mods useally have no plug ins.
  10. Your assumption is wrong as far as the cap goes. 15 or 5 follower cap is the maximum of npcs that can follow you at any given time. Extensive follower framework has a cap of 100. But the implementation of followers in Skyrim is wonky. They may disappear or not follow you. I am not sure about assigned homes. That is on per mod basis since I never needed the feature.
  11. If the only issue is with Honed Metal I would write directly to the mod page. A screenshot could be good since it is not clear where and when the OK box appears.
  12. I would install the latest version of SkyUI. The current one is 5.0. The 3.1 was wrongly packaged if I remember correctly. if problems persist update SKSE.
  13. It is great that you started using this tool from the onset. I have used most managers that exist going from wrye bash to nmm and finally mo. They have all their advantages but pros of MO outweigh the cons. Actually It is an art in itself. For some of us it becomes an objective in itself. I currently have over 400 active mods and the game is mostly stable. I get occasional ctd's once every 4 hours, but that is ok for me.

Well to tell you the truth papyrus logs can be very useful when using things like script scalpel and so on, if the ctd is due to infinitely looping scripts and you want to remove it from the savegame. But that is sometimes far beyond the abilities of even some veteran modders. And honestly it is hard for most users, me included, between innocent and bad script errors.

  16. Hmm, first of all. Did you use the mod sort in mod organizer? Secondly I would disable for sure papyrus logs. it is not a crash log and is more used by modders to check how their scripts take place within the game. Have you enabled memory patch from skse? I mean created the skse.ini file? I would use enboost. The guide from STEP is pretty good. There is a mod called safety load. I would try using it if the previous problems persist.
  17. If you use loot it may tell you about outdated plugins and such. Uhm. I don't see what you mean with lots of problems with nmo. You can download everything via mo. And I would use only one mod manager, otherwise there is no reason to use one at all. Also pointing out is not a functionality of a mod manager.
  18. It does. It has to do and is 255 if i remeber where oen is savestates etc. If you mean like Fallout NV or Fallour 3 no. There you had a weird limit of 150 mods or so.
  19. I think it is important to note that oftentimes scripts and other overwritten content that is problematic is far and between. Many modders use the same scripts across their mods and rarely modify them unless they want something really impressive. I remember two dwemer mods modifying the same script so only one of them actually worked. I personally would only bother with arranging left pane only if there is a probable conflict of negative sort. Best suggestion is to construct your base profile where you see how things interact. Then you will only have to do this check as new mods come.

  21. There is the Vampire Thirst mod as well. It depends on your taste but better vampires and vampire thirst plays differently.
  22. You would have to explain what you mean by it. Plugins are sorted in MO by using loot. The same has to be done in NMM as well so there is no difference. If you are talking about left pane then you are better off with MO rather than NMM. Unlike with MO you have to reinstall all mods that modify the same files in the same order as your plugins. And actually it does not have to be so. Also you "don't have to". As usual it depends on which version of the scripts you want.
  23. I would personnaly be against leaving a mark inside a mod explicitly. Brand usage is a good idea albeit I would personnally never use brand clothes that have the it all over the backside nor would I use a body that has a watermark under the left foot of my character. Characters that are action figures are just not my thing. Such things should be best stored in metadata or in readme files. Also modders work should speak for itself anyways. This answer is aimed at @tomomi1922 Textures and images fall under the copyright law. Meshes would fall in Europe under Industrail design rights and in the USA either under trademark or copyright law. Copyright protection comes into existance by the whole creation of the artwork itself. It does not need special registering and usually falls under the copyright law. I would certainly not trust that photographer's legal counsel. The best you can do is go to a notarius and get certified that he saw you with this exact object at that date. This is the law that lasts 75 years after author's death. If another person uses your texture and adds enough original expression within your work it is no longer considered derivative therefore stands in its own right. In case of textures the limit is very very low to get into the creative expression barrier. How many cases of legal disputes have you seen due to in game textures between publishers? The modification is not required to be very important. Obviously the copyright infingement is tested for viability in court. As well as copyright can be challenged in court. Meshes on the other hand protect the whole design element however not individual parts of it. As seen in prior cases if I suddenly started producing a car that has the front of BMW 7xx and the behind of Audi A8 obviously I would not be infinging upon the design rights of either Audi or BMW or both. Obviously design rights have to be requested and registered at the relevant authorities as well as paid for, for the requested duration. And obviously it is the responsability of the copyright holder to verify if there is any infringment of his copyright. Unless the copright holder himself claims the infringement no third party may intervene by exerting the rights that are only his to exert. Also there is no registry of all copyrighted work because it is just not needed nor possible to have. I thought it is interessting to point this out since many people talk about copyright, trademarks, patents and so on but do not necesseraly know what is hidden behind it. Even in photographer's forums one can see impressive misconception to the "width" of the domain that that they percieve they are protected from.
  24. Hello, So what I think is bizarre that it requires you a third mod to patch two others. But then again I haven't really played with sounds of skyrim. If yu aren't uninstallings mods or updating no new unattached script instances should exist. They are basically running scripts without an object attached to them kind of lke a car set in neutral. They take small amout of ressources and can sometimes be the straw thet breaks the camel's back. For Jaysus swords just press ctr-f and search for the new mod in sharlikans patches he is a great guy and also I an suggesting it due to the following reasons. What happened is that jswords plugin at the time was made with tesvsnip and contains corrupt data since it os a pre creation kit mod. I woukdn't be surprised if it plays a role. The loot output containing rich merchants suggested dowbloading another version of midas magic that is less prone to conflict. Hope this helps I am in a place without any internet but my phone's. So I am limited in checking lots of stuff. (^__^)
  25. Nah but did you go through with the cleaning process?. If the files have been cleaned then you may ignore this issue with loot not seeing it. Also you should check if the number of itm and udr match those given by loot You have lots of script heavy instances. What was the amount of unassigned script instances that were removed via the cleaner?
