Hard Mod Modding

I do not know if other people are having this problem, but I have a series of texture (custom body textures, skimpy armors, re-colors, etc...) and rebalancing (weight modifiers, lower consumption of stamina on sprint, etc ...) mods, and apparently, none of them work in hard mode.

A guy on Reddit's DDDA modding forum mentioned that the game uses different files on hard mode. I tried to find variations of files with similar names in the DDDA instalation folder, but without success.

Anyone know anything about this?

OK, new discoveries: When you start the hard mode, that the game realy uses a back up of all the textures of the maps and the player, but if you save the game, turn off, restart and load your save the modified textures will be back.

Any clues where skill stamina consumption, exp rate, gold drop and etc files are? Dug through all files I can think of with 0 success, I can't imagine devs duplicated every file and hid it somewhere, I think difficulty multiplier must be global. Any ideas?

Inside the bbsrpg_core.arc probably .

Could you be more specific? Went through both bbsrpg_core.arc which seems like mostly contains messages and textures, and bbs_rpg.arc where I also didn't find any related files...

Sadly I can't really help you on this, I think the file we need are inside the effect folder but I can't look by myself because I can't open any of those files...

Hmm, as I said, bbsrpg_core.arc contains mostly textures and encrypted language files from what I can tell. On exp, well I have an idea how that's done and how to mod it, but I don't see any difficulty indications there, maybe this guy knows, gotta ask, thanks for the tip.
