My character can't take damage?!

For some reason my character will not take any damage. I have just stood still and let creatures hit me and nothing happens. It doesn't even make the sound of a successful attack. I do not have god mode on and collision is on.

XD To be fair, most of them are single mods that are split into different modules

hmm, ive been occasionally getting this problem too. The cause might be the DMC stylish that you are running, the first time i had the same problem, i deactivated it and went to rock milk cave to test if it had been fixed. Im not quite sure the exact reason, but something with the DMC stylish mod causes the issue to pop up from time to time

but really... they should all be dead before they think to attack you right? :3

What's modmerge.esp? A self-made merged mod, and if so, what does it contain?

 

Have you tried using Wrye Bash to merge your mods? Have you BOSS'd your mod list?

 

Have you tried entering the console (hit the ~ key) when this happens, type godmode, hit enter, then the console key again, to see if the problem goes away?

Suzypike, quite a number of players run over 200 mods successfully. I've got over that, and there are a few people who have more than 400 going simultaneously. ;)

Yes, yes. I am curious too, about this "ModMerge.esp". Wonder if that "SetEssentialActors.esp" has anything to do with it?
