FCOM - Why wont it work? It's killing me...

Today, for the fourth time, I've tried to install FCOm again. And, as usual, I seemed to have fail miserably. I am completely confused by what's going wrong and I've followed many tutorials to the letter. The following problems occur:

 

Missing Torch Mesh,

CTD when exiting to the tamriel world space.

 

I've not got any further than this and haven't gotten further on my previous attempts. I don't know where I'm going wrong. If anyone can help me, I'd be thankful as I've already lost my sanity. It is a matter of time before I explode into a million FCOM incompatable pieces. I'm using the latest versons of Wrye Bash, Python, OBMM, BOSS and OBSE V20, yet still no avail has come. PLEASE HELP!

Did you read Mart's documentation?

 

1] Copy MMM.bsa to your Oblivion/Data directory

2] Select 'Mart's Monster Mod.esm' (If using OOO also select MMMforOOO.esm)

3] Select ONE of the following:

'Mart's Monster Mod.esp' - And Rename MMM.bsa to Mart's Monster Mod.bsa

*OR*

'Mart's Monster Mod for Frans.esp' - And Rename bsa to Mart's Monster Mod for Frans.bsa

*OR*

'Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.esp' - And Rename bsa to Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.bsa

 

You're using Oscuro's, but I don't see MMMforOOO.esm. Also, did you remember to rename one of the bsa files, as discussed above?

He's using FCOM which means he doesn't need MMMforOOO. He just need Mart's Monster Mod.esm and FCOM_Convergence.esp for it to work because FCOM takes care of integrating everything together. In fact, when you run BOSS it will print this line:

 

Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.esm
>* Delete. Not compatible with FCOM.

You want to rename MMM.bsa to "FCOM_Convergence_Mart's Monster Mod.bsa" when using FCOM since you're not going to be using any of the main MMM .esp's.

 

Only use one OMOBS plugin, not both. OMOBS_SI contains all the data needed for both the base game and SI. Also remove any plugins from your Data folder that you're not using because it can mess up the Bashed Patch when you build it.

 

It looks to me like you're not using up-to-date documentation. WarCry is currently version 1.09. You also don't have the latest UOP Supplementals. Make sure you follow the information in this thread.
