Getting ready to go to kitty's house with the wife and son for dinner. You Guys get together and sort out the Idea I posted in living color. It's really not all that hard to do but from all that I have gone through, it is the most viable option available to us. Work it out. Thanks for tunning in. I'll be back later tonight.

While taking the evening off from modding, this subject caught my attention. I've been reading for a few hours now, but I've yet to see an actual explanation for what the mod is doing. Is there one? It's really looking like a situation of fixing problems that didn't exist, along with unusually random editing and bizarre statements. (:wacko:?)

Then you have a lot more to read up on, Its all there on both threads, oh yeah, threads are in my signature. Feel free to brows them, But better yet, If you have Fallout 3, install that mod and see what happens. Some times it's better to taste something be fore actually eating it. Skeptical comments are expected. Proof is in the using, But hey ...Don't take my word for it, ask those that have had Exceptional experience using it. They are not me, and thats what counts.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif

You know, the father of my current housemate is clinically mad, and he also writes with strange colors, strange texts and is kinda distracted by everything.

Oh, and he talks to his watch because he thinks he's a CIA spy*

* I'm not making this up.

Why don't you just explain it here in a single, concise post? I think the majority of the problem everyone has with skepticism is your explanations avoid explaining anything. (You'd be a great politician.)

I don't want to be offensive, but it really seems like you don't know what's going on. You seemed to have dismissed ianpatt's comments without knowing how significant those comments were. There's probably no person here more qualified to call out BS related to the game's engine than him. That's not to say that your findings hold no merit, but the presentation is excessive.

Ok I will lay it all out here as to what the main Goals are with all of this.

1. Base model is a default game world wide.

2. Base Geck Not patched and used world wide.

3. In comes a game patch from steam---Geck not longer works.

4. Beth studios scrambles to provide a fixed version That works with the update.

5. 1.3 Patched for the geck gets implemented, first two weeks, it was rocky at best.

6. Finally it was corrected at best But it does not compile the files as expected.

7. The effect is an offset in the files coding.

8. Diagnostics begin here. (A) was the first issue of a default version. Not effected by 1.3 But all others are using 1.3 patched games. Results, shows default settings for a NON modified game IN a modified Game as well.

9. (Modified ) this means all, 1.3 patch no mods, and mods.

10. new version released that considered with the development on the net, Not what I am doing, what the net is doing.

11. test results come in, a pattern emerges in the results.

we privately determine where and what got changed, How the codes are being implemented.

12. Discovery, Lookout codes are streaming in to the system from Steam. Registry entries must be in place before the engine is used. We look at it's dependency tree, follow the jumps. Now the engine is OS aware. Tighter control over the functions have been implemented.

13. Found missed data change in the engine Patch, Partial coverage done, Patch is incomplete.Numeric offset is not in line. GECK implements this offset.

14. Original default codes still resides within the following versions up to A5F. I make one change by request to remove Pre order dependency from the mod. (A7) is now that mod. Header information only removed,remaining information that considered with those DLC packages still is incorporated in to the mod. Redundant data is found by others. YES there is now.

15. (A6) based on base code and updated mod involvements to cover them, mod list provided. maintains Pre order lists and Unaltered. Still the code is offset.

16. Location of the offset in the GECK and THE engine has begun. Examination of saved game that corrects this offset on one machine but not another has begun.

________________________________________________

This is where we are at now.

============

Correcting the games engine offset is the goal here not fixing the file it makes, If the water is offset then the Original goal it was intended for is also offset. So far, only a small handful of people have logged in with weirdness. The picture gallery show most of them. I have received many saved games to dissect and I thank those th=at have done this. It helped a great deal. They hold the keys here because it is a record of what actually takes place on a foreign machine and software environment. I now hope this will clarify what I am doing. and get on with the business at hand.

NV Game Stabilizer Requests:>>>>> ( Please use the discussion tab and click on the "(NV Game Stabilizer Item. here moder can Give me suggestions and feed back toward their possible applications That I may be able to implement into a permanent fix. I am approaching the Apex of the solution's and now is the time to add things in.)

Compatibilities and Requirements:

Notice: Confirmed there will be some that have malformed updates 1.3 NV patches installed Via steam. These systems this mod will not work on. Most Not Malformed 1.3 patched systems will operate flawlessly as described. This issue is out of my control. I have now verified this fact. So I am releasing this mod for testing. If you can not use the mod on your system, you can take that as an indication of malformed patch.

Have fun.

UPDATE:

I knew when I posted this it was going to be a tough road to walk, my feet are killing me now. a small percentage of what was downloaded In the beginning by users so far have experienced instant CTD's. I Have isolated this issue now.

I have received good support from those that had issues so far. I know this mod shows no conflict it's self but other mods are in conflict with it.

Problem is, most have those same mods and also show these conflicts But their systems react as the mod was designed to do.

I need support from Both side of the issue to target the problems you folks have waited for so long to rectify.

I can not do this alone Because Steam is involved here.

Update: Instant CTD was caused by the GECK placing Offset default commands in place of my instructions.

I will term this as a 1.3 bug related indecent which still is present in the updated game and the currently used GECK.

Point of reference is Object manager line. to be specific

If this mod works as stated? endorse it an vote for it. If Not, post the reasons why and what along with how you use the game and tweaks invoked so I can isolate the issue. I will work with you to resolve your needs to an extent.

This Mod is fully compatible with all DLC's,and many others.If you happen to find a

Mod that conflicts with this one, please report the conflict to me. Best to provide me with a saved game right where the issue occurs. This contains all the information happening when you play, with that I can see what you see. If I don't see it, then it's most likely a machine problem. This does happen, or an ini tweak is either not there or done wrong. Together we can sort it out for you.

Mod Type: Control mod

UPDATE:

New upload file has the Default raw Non finalized esp and a new GECK Finalized version.

Those that want to test the newest update, make sure you only use That file.(A6)

The best method found to give you a good idea of accuracy is to unpick the old one launch the game and allow the engine to post that changes have been made.

Once into the game wait or walk some place, not far and save game. Clean save. close the game and enable the newer version.

Make darn sure it stays at the bottom and nothing messes with it.That includes FNVeditor,bash or any other editing tool.

It contains specific changes and I need to know what the effects are going to be with the massive differences between users systems.

Feed back on things found should go in the discussion tab. I check it every 12 hours hours for news. Some times Every hour so you can expect a response from me

Follow up mod update: Experimental version (A6) Contains (Interior Lighting Overhaul - Realistic Interiors) Cell corrections to allow his program to function properly with mine.

Notice: Permission has been graciously granted By Sarge198 Via Pm.

Full Documentation to follow when Beta testing is completed as to operational conditions Via the public consumption. Now, Feed back is requested for this to go any further. His mod is not required for this (A6) to function. No Dependency's are listed For his file.

====================================================================

Follow up Mod Update: Experimental version NV Stabilizer (Interior Lighting Overhaul - Realistic Interiors) Sarge198 Updated His code. Now I have updated Mine to sync up with his as Most have assumed I would do this to help make things better. One step at a time. WE shall get there.

=========================================

Follow up 3 NV Game Stabilizer (A6) ready for testing. This mod has requirements only as an attempt to patch those mods from 1.3 variables that made wrong ID"s changes, This mod should correct them, It is uncertain if that shall be the case so it needs massive testing and feed back. Exact lines found need to be posted or E-mailed to me of these findings. the following mods are needed before attempting to run this mod.

-------------------------

Requirements :

FalloutNV.esm

ClassicPack.esm

MercenaryPack.esm

TriblePack.esm

CaravanPack.esm

------------------------

Follow up 4: I have removed the source files sense most refused to listen to warnings about modifying my files to suite them. You learn nothing by doing that. I leave only finalized files known to be stable and if altered as the source files were also known to break them. Warnings fall on deaf ears, Well I am deaf also for real. I may also be blind too. Something to think about. I will upload files for those still interested in following directions, as in (A4) has been done. Seen and spoken of In the private forum as stable and workable. Now there is an understanding of clarity, there should be no more doubts.

------------------------------------

By request I have Uploaded a version that does NOT require the Preorder Expansion Packs ID (A7)

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

This Mod also comes with a video as well, it is cut short after a very long night so be nice. A read me is in the works. These file contained erroneous codes placed into them by the 1.3 engine Bug, My mod corrects those statements. No material from them is used, Only overrides to correct those lines are involved. this mod includes the loaded list of files that were used in production of the corrections made to My mod and no others. The list of mods were corrected on my system prior to production in order to get perfect code results. your lists will contain the errors that I hope this corrects. Thus Beta is it's purpose. This mod is to be used as a tool, A guide line base model to sort out where the the data is changed by the 1.3 bug. Had they not missed anything in the patch, this mod would not have been needed to be developed.

Should they update their code and a new patch released, This mod will be come obsolete and not needed.

What this Mod Does:

This is a Game Enhancer and Engine stabilizer, Made to remove CTD's And Allow Smooth Game Play.

For those of you who may not know, Fallout NV Generates many invisible walls and collision markers NV Game Stabilizer will Prevent them from interfering with object locations and player movement in the game. Many posters have reported an increase in FPS, and a decrease in CTD's as a result of using this Mod. Nothing else has been changed about the game, outside of these mesh objects.

I believe These collision markers are the cause of errors within most Mods. The NV Game Stabilizer file will prevent this error from entering the GPU processing stage. It will not remove the code From the game files,only prevent it from being processed because doing so can be Disastrous for the Game it's self. Removing the error code could damage your Game and Game files and corrupt saved games too. Do not try to modify my filter,

as doing so will likely damage your Game software in the process. You have been warned.

=====================================================================

Installation:>>>>>>>WARNING!!!<<<<<<

Do NOT use the fomm on the "(Package) if you had down loaded it, It must be pick and choose Carefully placed into your data directory. This Only applies to those that downloaded that package when it was available. But I will give You the support any way should you require help. <<<Original released data no longer exists.

=====================================================================

Extract "NV Game Stabilizer" Either one but not both to your Data Folder, and activate it within your Mod Manager of choice or the default game launcher.Check and make sure It should always be loaded below your

master files, and your bug fixes. If you think any mod you use will change the content of this bug fix, load Mine beneath them as well. For now, you can't go wrong. Do NOT use the master update on these files, if you have ? Replace them with fresh copies and loading it at the very bottom. Do not remove any data from them at all.

If you are using Fallout NV Game Stabilizer small one in file size, unchecked it, back it up, and delete it entirely. Install the newer larger file instead. Always Keep it at the bottom of your load list. This one covers a heck of lot more, and also "May"cover outside Mods using the bad code I explained above. You can use this file as a template to gauge the other mods with the bad code, and adjust those mods accordingly.

One version of the multi speed mat become available on mirror web site. I will be hosting My own sever in two months For all related mods I have created which were never hosted here. Coverage contains 14 games.

Guides and special instructions manuals will also be available there.When it is up and running, it will be controlled by a Montreal Ca.company with An Excellent track record and obtainable through Google, Via Me.

If any one has a question regarding this, ask me and I will provide you an answer. very quickly

Reported Bugs: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>(Steam servers)<<<<<<<<<<<

Do not allow Fo3Editor to master update on these Files, It will result in CTD's If converted into esm's, it will result in CTD's. Those that wish to use master update may, but after you have done so, place a fresh copy of my files into the data directory. This should prevent CTD's. The programming is esp related as the last file overrides previous programmings.This is known fact. It utmost important you understand this. "YOU CAN NOT MODIFY MY FILES AT ALL" Unless of course you have a masters degree in math ? Don't even try.Those that do try, your on your own and I don't wish to hear about it. Upset the fabric of time, and things fall apart.

Other wise None that I'm aware of. Vigorously Tested.
