profnewbie Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) Hi All, Not having enough time or experience to make it myself I would like to see a 'smart mine' mod that has a type of mine that ignores the player (and maybe companions) but explodes at the approach of enemies or creatures.I think it fits with lore and atmosphere prevalent in the game and would be useful to defend campsites, favorite cache locations and the like. Just a passing idea that occurred to me while setting up an ammo cache. Hope somebody runs with it! If not, maybe pm me with a few hints about scripting it? The only mines I've messed with were in fo3 (which do not discriminate between friend or foe) so I assumed (dangerous practice I guess) nv mines were the same. The only ones I've used so far blow up when anybody,friend or foe,comes near. I'll have to check out all types.
