Loganhoyt57
Disclaimer: I literally know absolutely nothing about Fallout 4 or any sort of modding in general. So please be gentle with my idea. The Idea: My idea is this, I want to take all of the best settlement mods (save files) for each settlement and inject them into my own game to create a fully developed Commonwealth. Some prime examples of the mods I am talking about would be: Project Sanctuary 2487: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5324/?New Commonwealth: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8137/?Minute Men HQ - The Castle: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4801/?Starlight City: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4458/?And Many More... Is this possible by just taking the "cell" that these various settlements are built in and pasting it over the cell in your current save-game? If not, this may have to be something that needs the Creation Kit. Potential Problems: Most (if not all) of these settlements require and EXTENSIVE list of settlement enhancing mods to be installed. This presents a problem with "importing" the settlements into other players games. So then my next question is, would it be possible to just take these amazing settlements and change them from being "settlements" into a permanent cell / game asset that would only require ONE mod to be installed and not a whole host of settlement building mods to be installed? This may also require the Creation Kit... Conclusion: I appreciate you all listening to my idea. Hopefully something like this can be created in the future as I think it would be truly amazing to see a Commonwealth map with a ton of restoration mods and imported settlements. It has just never made sense to me that after all these hundreds of years that the remnants of humanity had not started to seriously rebuild yet. Thanks! wax2k
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8330/? Handle with care, it's probably not bug-free. Haven't used it myself.

I will definitely have to play around with this a bit. Thank you for sharing this!
wax2k
I am quite sure you still will need to have the mods running which provided the objects in the first place. But as I said: I didn't use it myself.
