HippeusOmega
Not sure what is going on but I'm encountering a lot of resistance building in the Castle. I would think its my settlement limit but it shows I still have a lot of space left. I had recently updated the craftable castle walls mod its latest version and started noticing it. Then uninstalled it to eliminate that but it still giving me issues like building shack roofs and such. I know I've built a lot in the castle. Can someone help me narrow this down? wax2k
Known issue in relation to the ini setting bUseCombinedObjects=0 (default=1) or using Spring Cleaning's non-ini version, which applies the same setting on a per-cell base only in settlement cells. While this triggers that bug, the real cause behind it is Bethesda being lazy with the collisions of some objects in some areas and relying on the use of combined objects. Using Simple Intersections should solve that issue for most vanilla workshop objects. Many of Homemaker's objects should be fine as well due to incorporating the same features like Simple Intersection does. And of course Place Everywhere shouldn't have this issue on any workshop object anymore. Edited February 18, 2016 by wax2k

So its a bug that causes the workshop to become unresponsive where it won't let me build something I select then?
wax2k
Oh wait, you can't even select and try to place something? I thought, it just wouldn't let you place it due to being red everywhere. Does the outline of the object show up, just in red, or does the object not show up when selecting it in the workshop menu? And what happens, if you scrap some of the objects already built? Are you then able to place new ones? Edited February 18, 2016 by wax2k

As I said have settlement limit still. Maybe its glitching cause of the scrap dead things and spring cleaning. Was allowing me to build again but not sure if'll come back. wax2k
And it happens with every single object in the workshop? Or just certain ones? Can you make a screenshot of the situation? Edited February 19, 2016 by wax2k
bill8872
Did you use the option DD_Castle_Floor_Fix_READ_DESCRIPTION? ( link does not work)From what I have read on the castle page, that mod can cause the issues you are having, if you do not use the fix. I use the fix right after I place the walls, and have not had any issues placing anything. Edited February 19, 2016 by bill8872
wax2k
Since he doesn't seem to use the Castle Wall mod, it's most probably unrelated. Also as far as I know, that would be the same issue I described related to disabling combined objects, which would show the objects but not let them be placed. His issue is, that the objects won't even show, as if he either didn't have enough resources or as if he hit the settlement size limit. bill8872
The only reason I mentioned it, is some mods might leave a bad effect in the game, even if you uninstall it.

Yeah I was using the castle mod. Might've caused issues when I had ugpraded from 1.0 to 2.0. It was only happening with certain objects. Like Shack roofs and floor pieces.
