Strange problem with water

Hi guys,

so i've came across a strange problem, which makes my skyrim think there's water, where no water should be.

this results in my character trying to swim on land... which makes it pretty impossible to play the game.^^

now... i only have that issue near "moving water" such as animated rivers and waterfalls. it goes like this: i approach a river/waterfall, and it would change to a grey texture in short intervals. on top of that my character trys to swim on land, only in short intervals too.

here's what i've done so far(without any results):

- sorted my loadorder with LOOT
- cleaned up all my mods with TES5EDIT

- disabled all mods which affect water or waterfalls(skyfalls+skymills, pure waters, water color for enb)

- raged really hard

i don't know what else to do and i hope some of you guys may help me.

i'm using realvision279b ENB btw.

greetings

Well this started happening to me when I downloaded a certain mod.. not going to say which so not to offend. But it's not ENB so you can rule that out.

It ONLY happens in areas this mod effects heavily, such as Whiterun. You can tell an area is affected, if the river/water meshes flicker when seen from a distance.

I haven't found a solution for my problem..

I would tell you the most easy step .

reinstall the game without the mods , then install any mod that you really need.

but if you don't want too don't

anyway i had this problem and well i fixed thanks to making anything organized (any new mods i download i put them in a group so i woluld see if they brake or stuff like this) ,

it would be nice to see your load-order so i could tell you what causing it

hey,

thanks for the answers!!
i was hoping to get around a complete reinstall, takes so much time to reinstall everything... x(
but i'll do that now, since even disabling all of my mods didn't help.

Believe that is unfixable unless a reinstall occurs. In my case, if I uninstall the offending mod, my game is busted, since it has a ton of scripts. -__-

Word to the wise, have a "test" save on hand, ala save twice with your character, and use one of them as your test save.
