jeffglobal
If you use the unique player mod, your CBBE model will not be inherited by the general detritus of the wasteland. If you use the unique companion mod, they can have unique CBBE presets. If you really are just asking about kids, Dante will kick your butt REALLY fast off the forums. EmissaryOfWind
Hopping on this topic real fast: if I have two female characters, can I assign a body to each of them, or do I have to build both bodies, save the presets into Bodyslide, and switch between them before switching characters? I'm guessing the latter, but you never know

I'm guessing the latter, but you never knowYou have to switch. CBBE (and other body mods) just replace what's in the game. You can't pick different body types in the vanilla game (outside of the weight triangle, anyway), so CBBE etc. are no different from that.

To compliment this, if you use BodySlide, only make the body for the outfit you're going to be wearing.I.e. The Vault 111 Jumpsuit. This way, you have a mostly unique body type, while everyone else stays the default CBBE shape.

Referencing my above post, you can actually make different body types if you use different outfits for each character. For example, Give Curie a set of Road leathers, and Piper a set of Long Johns. Set the body for the Road Leathers to whatever measurements you want, then hit Build. All characters wearing the Road Leathers will have that Body type, including Curie. Then, make another body for the Long Johns for Piper. Hit Build, then all Characters wearing Long Johns will have that body type, but not the Road Leathers body type. Of course, if you make them nude they'll still be the same, but this method can be great for adding a bit of body type diversity to your female companions.
