Thandal
I'm seconding everything bben said, and adding that EVERYONE IS WELCOME to create wiki articles. Just do it, please! There's a goldmine of information on modding all the games supported here on the Nexus, but most of it is buried in the hard rock that is the Forums or locked in pockets of individual PMs. -- Search the forums for your topic of interest to find the relevant info, (or start from scratch, if you prefer)-- Write/Copy-paste as appropriate (For an article I "wrote", I contacted the people who's thoughts I had included wholesale to ensure that they didn't mind their words being incorporated this way. All were very gracious in giving permission, and credited in the introduction.)-- Edit to make intelligible/grammatically consistent-- Post to the Nexus Wiki If you get it wrong, leave stuff out, or don't know about the latest changes to the game or a mod, that's ok. People will hop in to correct/update as needed. The hard part is getting something posted in the first place. And remember, unlike a Forum post there really isn't a way to "critique" what you've written. No one will be posting a "Fail" message. When someone feels that way, it's really up to that person to make the changes, isn't it? The harder part (for some) is giving up any sense of "authorship". It won't be "your" article once it's posted. It'll become a community asset. Hopefully one that will remain useful and relevant long after you stop even looking at it!
HellsMaster
Also, i have done 1 article in the wiki, in Oblivion section. It isn't simple. And as LH told me, I suggest you Click the edit button on peoples post to see how its done, the font, alignment, subject, ect. Also LH linked me to something where it teached the basic of Wiki :) You should ask him.

amullinix
I would love to help populate it. I went through the wiki (not extensively mind you) enough to see the potential it has. The unfortunate aspect though, is that not many people use/populate it enough for it to be as viable as having a dedicated portion of the forum (more technical than the Articles section, which already has many, many good things posted). Saying that, however, does not mean it's true. I fancy myself to be mature enough to know when to 'give up' (so to speak) on one idea, and cater to another one that pulls off the same thought. I am currently going through a change of duty station, shifting 12 hour shifts in my current billet, and trying to decide when the best time (and setting) to propose (is that the proper spelling? I'm horrible with spelling) to Stacy would be. Basically, there are a lot of things going on, but once I get back into programming (not NEARLY the way I was, but enough to try my own scripting out), I would love to help populate the wiki. Also, no worries about 'ownership' when it comes to articles on the wiki, or even here. I have a little experience with wiki (because of my job... kinda). I wanted to point out, that my bringing up my experience was for no other reason that to help set the stage for my responses. I don't want it confused with trying to force something, or prove something (egotistically speaking) to anyone. No one said anything; just wanted to cut it off at the pass, before it might have been brought up. Also, to the Admin/Moderators that took to posting in this thread... thank you.
