Sandatharius
2Pac has a set of CBBE armours and clothing that replace almost every armour and clothing in the game. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7718/? However, I only want to have a couple of them replaced that are unique to the main Character, such as the Silver Shroud costume, which I really like. Is it as simple as deleting everything else in the archive, except the Meshes and Textures required for the outfits that I want to be replaced? There's an .ESP file as well, in the download. Sandatharius
Really? No one has any idea on how to do this?
mac2636
Really? No one has any idea on how to do this?Use Bodyslide. Ctrl+Batch Build, select only the armors you want to use. Vreate a new folder (maybe "My 2pac Pics"). Close Bodyslide. Go into that folder, copy the meshes and paste them into your Fallout 4/Data/Meshes folder. Don't forget to move the chosen textures and materials as well.
Sandatharius
Thanks for your reply! But, won't installing the mod to begin with, replace all the armor and clothing in the game? Right now, I have only 2 armours I've Batch Built for the Bodyslide preset I've created: the Courser Suit and the Kerrigan Bodysuit. The only other armor I want is the Silver Shroud, and possibly the Grognak. I have all the other NPCs with default vanilla armours, so that my body doesn't show up in all the female NPCs in the game. Yes, I know about the Unique Player mod, but I found it confusing, and just didn't want to risk messing up my game. It's a pity he didn't have a few of the better armors available as stand-alones. mac2636
Install just don't let it override anything. Or you could try making back up copies of your current or vanilla armors. Install 2pac's letting it overwrite everything, then just copy back the originals to overwrite the ones you didn't want changed. I actually use 2 of 2pac's armors in place of completely different clothing.
MsRae
Are they just mesh and texture files? Because if so when you install the mod you aren't actually getting rid of any of the vanilla meshes/textures. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but simply by placing them in the data > meshes > etc. and data > textures > etc. folders with the same names as the originals you are making the game use those textures/meshes instead. What you can do if there is an esp for them is use Fo4Edit to delete all the modifications which apply to the files you do not want then check for any which are just overriding by having the same names and delete them too. You can't just delete the stuff in the folders if there is an esp because it will make your game crash looking for stuff that no longer exists. This would be a very time consuming process though so if you want you can just manually download the mod zip and take out the nifs and textures for the two outfits you want and make a tiny esp which replaces only those two. You would have to look at the file structure for the textures in the mod itself though to make sure that you don't have to actually alter the nif references. The editor ID for the shroud armour is MS04_SilverShroudArmor_15 if that helps. What you would have to alter is the "Male world model - MOD2" reference. I have no idea what your skill level is with this but I have only been at this for a month or so and what seemed complicated at first now seems pretty simple. If it's something you really want then you probably have the motivation to figure it out.

This way you don't necessarily need that individual mod's esp file.
