HeyYou
There should be a 'restore' partition on your harddrive, if you didn't get a disk..... that you use a specific key combination to boot from, and it will put the machine back to exactly the way it was when you got it new. We've been discussing on this thread how that isn't working. That's the thesis of my problem. Thanks for the thoughts though! And, even when I re-install the Alienware Drivers that come with the computer, still no luck.

HeyYou
Whats the model number of your alienware machine?
KDStudios
I agree with Seph,Try letting the alienware disc install whatever it has on it, on your system. After that if you can connect to the internet. Use windows update to get any available updates. When thats done and possibly after a restart.Check your Device Manager for any devices that have any (?) icons. If you have none then you should be all set :) If you have some just find the correct drivers for them via the internet :)

Dustbuster96
It's been awhile since I've been on TESNexus or these forums, I was gone for the summer. Anywho, I just wanted to say that my computer had a motherboard problem that was causing drivers from the Alienware software to repeatedly fail. I got it professionally fixed, so it's all good now. This thread can be closed. Glad to hear that you got your problem solved! :thumbsup:As per request, [/thread] -DarkeWolf
