ripplydrpepper
The Starlight Drive In seems a little lackluster. I was thinking, what if you could repair the screen, the projector, a few sound boxes and a car (or a chair to sit in) and actually watch a movie. I don't know if something like this could even be done as I'm not to proficient with programming or coding. But if such a thing could be done, I think it would be cool if there was a folder that had all the video files and you could select through them at the theater. If you think that something like this could be done, and that you'd like to give it a go please message me.
PoliteRaider
It's going to be a little tricky, since as far as I'm aware there are no videos used in game anywhere in Fallout 4. The closest you get is the news announcement at the beginning of the game and that's done more like a flip-book, with a changing texture on the screen. This means that the engine may not have any support for displaying video files within the game environment and that would make things vastly more difficult. MLeonhardt
Well, once we do figure it out, we have the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. training videos to play.
PoliteRaider
Well, once we do figure it out, we have the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. training videos to play. A surprisingly large amount of really old TV shows, commercials and movies (some from around the right time period) have been put in the public domain. I'd love to be able to get one of these working and be able to put some animated video on the TV sets or the drive-in screen. I absolutely love this idea. It's just going to be a difficult technical challenge.
ripplydrpepper
With all the modded content I've seen so far I don't doubt that someone could do it. It's just a matter of motivation and time. But I was thinking if there was a way to put a video player into the game, and have the window that it plays in on the repaired starlight screen. That way you could have a folder that the movie player gets it's videos from. Also, I think it'd be hilarious if someone doing a mod showcase, used this mod to display the other mods on the screen. Kinda showing mods from a mod.

Like this: [img=www.thelocationofyourpicture.com/yourpicture.jpg] Okay, Thank you. I went to imgur and uploaded it, its poor quality but you get the idea. Watched star trek into darkness like this and it wasn't that bad of a viewing experience. http://imgur.com/b8tOFIE
