TKKJELL44 Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) I am having a problem with one of my mod's, i'm not sure which it is, But one of them is causing there to be big yellow exclamation marks besides the city gates. I will paste my load order/list of mods in the end of this topic. I am also wondering if you could tell me which of these mod's i should merge in a bashed patch and also how i could do that, i tried reading up on this on Google, but it is very poorly explained. Also i had do deactivate FCOM_Francescos.esp, FCOM_FrancescosItemsAddOn.esp and FCOM_FrancescosNamedBosses.esp, because if i had these activated the game would shut down when it came to the black screen with the "Bethesda" logo when i tried to start it.Any help would be highly appreciated! David Brasher Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 Your problem does not sound like load order. Your problem sounds like missing meshes from either: (1) A mod installed wrong (2) A bad mod (3) A random and tricky archive invalidation problem such as happens to people with lots of mods. So changing your load order is not likely to do anything about your missing meshes. (The possible exception being the theoretical archive invalidation problem.) You can find out what mod the missing meshes come from by using RefScope or by clicking on the exclamation point while in console mode, seeing what the first two characters of the reference number are, and looking up those two numbers in your Wrye Bash load order. (Those hexidecimal numbers indicate position in load order.) When you find the problem mod, reinstall the meshes for it. If that does not help, then you can check into whether it is a bad mod that did not include the meshes. If it is a bad mod, delete the sucker and send a complaint to the author. If it is a good mod, then you can check into archive invalidation weirdness and mysticism. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rededge Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 I reckon this would be a good place to start - http://tesivpositive.animolious.com/ The yellow blocks with WTF! are missing meshes, I think you will have a hard time tracking down exactly what mod is responsible here; realistically you will have to load one at a time and test, load another, etc. Tedious and time consuming, but probably the best workable method.I can't assist with the overhaul mods as I don't use them- you'll probably have to spend (invest!!) considerable periods of time reading about those and their quirks in the forum threads. I do see that you have multiple esps loaded for DR, however, where you should only have just the one selected...could well be your CTD right there.
