Oblivion constant crashing

As the title suggests, I'm having trouble with Oblivion crashing. In fact, it crashes about every 30 seconds after loading a save, regardless of what I do. I have tried disabling several mods, and it still doesn't work. Video settings also seem to have no bearing on the outcome. I have not tried reinstalling the game yet. If there isn't another solution, then I will try that.

 

My OS is a Windows 7, 64-bit.

 

Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 4650

RAM: 4 GB

CPU: Quad-core, 2.8 GHz

 

I came in today and decided, I want to play Oblivion again. So I start a new game and, progress until you start going through the caves fighting rats and zombies, etc. Now, I've gotten stuck in the middle of the intro section where the above problem comes in.

I also used BOSS to reorder whatever mods it recognized, to no effect.

Disable Salmo the baker, see if that helps.

 

Move DR5 to dead last in your load order. Do you have the hotfix for it as well?

I disabled Salmo and DLed the DR5 Hotfix just to be sure, and had it at the end of my load order. Still no results. I also have started a new game instead but It'll still get to the same problem after a bit of progress.

Bashed patch will prolly help, some of those plugins should be merged.

 

Update AWS.

 

If you get to the main menu, but can't load a save game: have you made changes to the "skeleton.kf" or installed a replacer anim pack that changes first person skeleton that does not come with a plugin?

 

You could try disabling some of the "extra" CM Partners plugins...I always had trouble with them.

Well, in the interest of time I already decided to uninstall and delete all folders. I reinstall, go back into the standard vanilla game, and it works now. But, thank you guys for your time.

Yes I might want to try that sometime... since not everything I want that I can think of can be provided. But for now I can just keep downloading what I like. I'll keep that page with me for future reference.
