to help pass the time I'm writing a fan fiction on the Elder Scrolls games would like people's opinion on this chapter still working on it though and pardon the spelling mistakes if there is any XD. This story takes place directly after the Oblivion Crisis in Cyrodill.

CHAPTER 1

At Cloud Ruler Temple the Blades celebrating their victory over Mehrunes Dagon, the daedric prince of destruction, and his minions. There were drinks, songs sung from their best bards and playful sword fights for those that wish to show off their skill. There sits two Blades sitting at a table in the middle of the celebration one named Baurus a young warrior, and the other Blade was an old man named Jaufree. Baurus is a young star that rose fairly quickly among the Blades rank structure. He is tall, slender, short black hair, and has dark reddish skin. Jauffre, the leader of the Blades, has gray hair on the sides as his head, and slender build.

"HA HA HA! What a fight the daedra put up," one of the blades shouted excitedly.

"We owe it all to Martin Septim," said another Blade in a joyous glee

"HAIL MARTIN SEPTIM!", shouted Baurus, "HAIL!".

The other Blades repeated in cheerful joy chanting, "HAIL MARTIN SEPTIM HAIL!".

"I would like to thank everyone who had helped with bringing and end to the Oblivion Crisis," said Jauffre, "For this is a most joyous occasion for us all and the biggest event of our lifetime"

"Lets make a toast to Martin Septim for without him we would not be here, " said Baurus.

All the blades rose their tankards and clanked them together in honor of Martin Septim. Just as the Blades were drinking from their tankards Captian Steffan ,third‑in‑command of the Blades, busts in the hall shouting with grave urgency, "Grandmaster Jauffre Grandmaster Jauffre The daedra have returned and they are beginning to attack Cloud Ruler Temple". As Captain Steffan revealed this tragic news the Oblivion gate was open and was towering over Cloud Ruler Temple and the Kynval rushed to the doors of the Main Hall of Cloud Ruler Temple armed with swords and bows.

The Blades quickly locked the Main Hall doors and rushed to arm themselves. The Blades rushed struggling to get themselves getting their armour on while the Daedric warriors kept cutting through the wood and slamming into the doors of the Main Hall attempting to force themselves in Cloud Ruler Temple. Then silence was at the door and it remained silent for a few minutes Baurus and Captain Steffan stood at both sides of the Main Hall door with their swords ready as the last of the Blades finally finished putting on the last pieces of their armour. Baurus and Steffan lifted the handles on the doors and forced the doors open smashing the stone walls of the building. The Blades saw no sign of the Kynval they only saw the Oblivion Gate towering over them with an ominous evil feeling creeping up on the Blades who never experienced the Oblivion Gates before.

"It appears they have retreated," said Steffan "Lets close this Gate before they come out".

As the Blades moved from the Main Hall spreading out over the courtyard of Cloud Ruler Temple with caution the Kynval forces leap from the roof of the building landing on a few Blade Warriors and stabbing them in the face with their swords with intense force. The blood spewded up from the Blades's faces like a sprinkler system watering the lawn. The Blades turned and launched themselves forward with their swords sticking out while hiding behind their shields impailing 5 of the Kynval forces in the chest. Baurus rushed in taking on a Kynval warrior. Baurus spun with his blade extended using the momentum of the spin to strike the Kynval in the chest hoping the speed of the blade will cut through the Kynval's chest plate. The Kynval warrior leaps back just to see Baurus's blade harmlessly pass by. The Kynval lunges forward as Baurus was still in mid spin attempting to strike him in the neck. Jauffre with his quickness struck the Kynval's sword and parried the Kynval's sword away. Baurus leaped back from the Kynval and Jauffre struck the Kynval with his two handed sword piercing through his armour striking his heart with great precision.

Steffan rushed at one Kynval that had a fellow blades man on the ground at the point of his sword. The Kynval spun with his sword fully extended. Steffan ducks under watching as the sword passes over him and rushes his sword through the Kynval's head forcing it through his helmet. The Kynval falls to the ground; Steffan helps his fellow bladesman up and gives him his sword. Steffan spins around with his sword close to his side striking another Kynval down with relative ease.

"Are you ok?", asks Steffan.

"Im ok, "says the other blades man.

"Let's kill these demons"

"Yes sir"

Baurus's sword clashes with a Kynval's sword as their eyes locked on each other watching intensely. Baurus steps to the left and strikes, the Kynval parries his sword away slowly walking to the left keeping Baurus in front of him. The Kynval strikes at Baurus with the swiftness. Baurus blocks and strikes back, the Kynval blocked it. Both kept circling each other waiting for the next advantage point. In a flash, as if they were dancing, they parry and strike at each other's guard in a rhythmic fashion. Moving left then shifting movement to the right as they circle and struck each other. The Kynval steps forward and strikes with precision at Baurus's chest. Baurus parried his sword away with the same quickness and precision. Their swords were locked both, flat sided pushing their blades against blade, eyes intensely gazing at each other. In a sudden bust of unexpected strength the Kynval forces Baurus back and Baurus stumbled and fell from the momentum of the push the Kynval gave him. The Kynval puts his sword against Buarus's neck gently pressed against it.

"You're not bad for a mortal" said the Kynval "And have proven to be a most formidable adversary".

They locked eyes once more starring each other down both of their eyes filled with hate tinged respect for the others skill. In a flash, the Kynval's sword was withdrawn and placed back into its sheath. The Kynval turns and walks away calmly back into the Oblivion Gate from whence he came from and the Oblivion Gate closes as if the attack on the temple never happened. Baurus is left on the ground in a state of confusion.

In the Main Hall Baurus was in a state of deep thought; focuses in the minute the battle that happened with him and his Kynval opponent. Why didn't he kill me when he had the chance when he had me on the ground? Why have they come back? Is the Mythic Dawn behind this Oblivion Gate?

"What is on your mind Baurus?" asked Jauffre

Baurus jumped when he heard Jauffre spoke "Nothing Grandmaster Jauffre just reflecting on my past fight with the Kynval"

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No just trying to find a weakness in his sword style"

"I've sent word to the Elder Council about the attack of the Kynval on Cloud Ruler Temple they wish to speak with us on this matter in person," said Jauffre.

"When do we leave for the Imperial City?"

"We leave as soon as possible"

"May Talos guide us through these troubled times"

Baurus and Jauffre sattled up two horses and rode off on the road to the Imperial City. As the Sun was beginning to set over the peaks of the mountains, they reached the little town of Aleswell. They put their horses in the hands of the local horse caretaker. They enter the inn as the horses are lead into the stable.

"Hello weary travelers" said the innkeeper "How may I help you this fine evening".

"Ah yes we would like two rooms and some food" replied Jauffre

"Right this way m'lords the cost of the rooms are 5 gold a night" said the innkeeper

As they walked they hear laughter and singing from the drunk patrons of the inn. In the back close to the exit sits a man in red robes watching Jauffre and Baurus's every move as they came in while casually sipping his ale in his tankard. The smell of alcohol was strong in the air from all the patrons that have been drinking that night.

Both Baurus and Jauffre paid for their stay and the innkeeper showed them to their rooms. The rooms looked bare with only a dresser and a bedroll as its funishings Both Jauffre and Baurus looked at each other as they examned the room they both nodded their heads in approval that the rooms would do for the night.

"If you need anything I will be downstairs m'lords" said the innkeeper as he turned and walked downstairs.

Both Baurus and Jauffre dropped their packs on the floor but kept their swords on them as they retreated downstairs to get some much needed nurishment.

"Innkeeper do you have any of Tamika's West Weald Wine?", asked Baurus.

"Why yes we do m'lord" said the Innkeeper as he turned to go grab the wine.

"Before you go Innkeeper I wish to have a bottle of Surilie Brothers Wine" said a patron "preferably the oldest one you have".

"Coming right up m'lord" said the Innkeeper as he disappeared from view.

"Nice sword you have there", said the patron "Akaviri Katana?".

"Why yes it is how did you know?", exclaimed Baurus.

"I fought a Blade warrior with one once said the patron "he was quite a challenge"

"What was his name?"

"Steffan I think"

"Challenged him to a duel and almost won" said the patron.

"What is your name"

"Dan-Zaw" said the patron "You may know my other brothers Han-Zaw and Bun-Zaw"

"Who doesn't?" exclaimed Baurus "They are legends in the Arena and were a massive help with closing the Oblivion Gates during the Oblivion Crisis"

The Innkeeper returned with two bottles in his hands. "Here you go m'lords Tamika's West Weald Wine and Surilie Brothers Wine" The Innkeeper handed them their alcohol and disappeared around the corner. Both poured their wine in their respective tankards. Dan-Zaw pulled out a small glass bottle filled with a dark red liquid. He slowly opened the bottle and poured the red liquid into his own tankard.

"What is that you put in your wine"

"Blood of my dead steed"

A gross look appeared on Baurus as he slowly moved away from Dan-Zaw.

"Good day Dan-Zaw I feel rather tired" said Baurus as he turned and headed upstairs

"May the Night Mother wrap you in her cold loving embrace" replied Dan-Zaw.

Baurus in that instant spun around with his hand on his sword. Searching for Dan-Zaw but he had vanished from view.

Finally was able to get my rhythm of this chapter flowing i hate it when you have writer's block XD. Will post the rest of it when it is all done

CHAPTER 2

Baurus searched for the whereabouts of Jauffre throughout the bar. Just as he was about to give up he spotted Jauffre with a group of patrons. They were all singing and drinking.

"Ha Ha Ha great story Jauffre" said one patron.

"It was intense throughout the whole thing.", said another patron "How do you do it?"

"You sure you are not a storyteller" repied another patron who was drunk.

"Nope and that was a true story as well" said Jauffre.

"No way that was true"

"Ask my partner Baurus" said Jauffre "who is right behind you"

The patron turned and almost jumped when he saw Baurus behind him.

"Do you really see Akatosh take on Merunes Dagon" asked a patron with a hint of excitement in his vioce.

"Why yes we did" exclaimed Baurus.

"Impossible that is impossible that Akatosh would have emerged in the Imperial City"

"Grandmaster I wish to talk to you in private on a certain matter" replied Baurus.

"Sure thing Baurus" said Jauffre "Excuse us for a moment"

Both Jauffre and Baurus left the table and headed upstairs to their rooms.

"What is it you wish to speak to me about Baurus?", replied Jauffre.

"I spoke with a Dark Brotherhood assassin".

"This cannot be Who was his target?".

"I think I maybe his target".

"What makes you think this?"

"He asked me about my sword and started a conversation with me".

"What was his name?".

"He told me it was Dan-Zaw the youngest brother of the legendary Zaw brothers".

"I thought there were only two of them".

"So did I but it might be an alias name to cover up his real name".

"True the Dark Brotherhood is known for lying and deception".

"And the Zaw brothers never mentioned a third one amongst their family when we were with them".

"Let's get some rest and make the long journey to the Imperial City"

"Night Grandmaster".

"Night Baurus".

Jauffre and Baurus retreated to their beds and slept. The next morning they checked out and bought some food for the trip to the Imperial City. They grabbed their horses and rode on down the road. The smell of the trees filled their noses as their horses trotted along. The grass blew to the West as the wind traveled in that direction. The breeze from the wind felt good against the faces of Baurus and Jauffre. Ruins of an old fort slowly surfaced into the horizon. There was the man in red robes from the bar standing in the road gazing at Baurus and Jauffre as they came into view.

"I don't like the feel of this" said Baurus as his hand slowly moved over his sword.

"I agree" replied Jauffre as his hand slowly moved to his Dai-Katana.

As they trotted closer the robed man shouted in anger "Noone will survive the Cleansing"

He rose his arm in the air and summoned magical armour and a one-handed mace. Baurus and Jauffre dug their heels in their horses sides. The horses began to go into a full gallop. As they passed the robed man two arrows flew and stuck their horses. The horses stumbled and fell to the ground face first. As the horses flipped and rolled Baurus and Jauffre were launched off and hit the ground with a loud thump. 8 more robed men appeared with summoned armour and swords drawn on Jauffre and Baurus. Jauffre groaned in pain as he tried to get up. One of the robed men kicked him in the back to force Jauffre back on the ground

"This was to easy", laughed one robed man.

"Who are you?", replied Baurus.

"We are the Mythic Dawn".

"Impossible I thought you were.."

"Destroyed? We are far from destroyed our numbers grow by the hour".

"What do you plan to do to us" said Baurus as he tried to rise slowly.

"Our orders are to take you alive and torture you in the Forbidden Grotto till the end of time"

"You won't get away with this" growled Baurus

"Really?" said one of the robed men as he kicked Baurus in the groin as hard as he could.

"There is so much you don't know about our contined existence under our new Master".

"Tie them up and deliver them to our Master".

"Yes Sir"

  • 1 month later...

As one of the robed men pulled out shackles from his backpack and moved close to Jauffre and Baurus. A black daedric sword pierced his heart . The sword was withdrawn from the Mythic Dawn agent's body as he fell. There stood a Dark Brotherhood assassin.

"A Dark Brotherhood assassin?" shrieked one of the Mythic Dawn members.

"Why are you here assassin?" replied one of the Mythic Dawn acolytes.

The assassin remained silent as he pulled his sword close to his lips. His tongue slowly glided along the blade as it gathered the blood that stained it. His yellow eyes were closed in estacy. The taste of the blood made his face cringe in delight.

"Why are you here assassin?" repeated the acolyte.

"To feed the Dread Father Sithis" said the assassin.

"Kill him" commanded the acolyte

Five more armed acolytes circled the assassin with their blades drawn at his neck and chest waiting for him to make his move.

"Any last words assassin"

"Time to feed my Dread Father"

The sky darkened. The assassin's blade began to produce a dark, ominous glow. The five acolyte's rushed at the assassin. The assassin spun with his arm fully extended. His sword clashed with one of the acolyte's sword. As the sword's clashed the assassin's sword let out a massive scream. As the the two blades slid off each other. Two more blades passed by the assassin as he dodged with expert dexterity. The assassin fell to the ground to dodge an acolyte's sword from piercing his heart. One acolyte raised his sword and struck down onto the assassin. The assassin caught the blade with his feet. The assassin spun launching the blade at the ground and slew the acolyte in his side. The four acolytes held their swords at the assassin. The assassin held his sword close to him. The sword's evil menacing glow got darker. It began whispering to the acolytes for their blood and souls. The acolytes felt the air around them being suffocated as the sword beckoned them to get closer. Their hearts came to a stop as if time itself had stopped. The assassin spun with his sword still close to him. The acolytes moved back just out of range of the assassin's blade. The sword screamed. The assassin moved in with the sword over his head. Staying low to the ground he slew one acolyte. The other three charged him. Their swords clashed. The assassin had vanished from view. The three acolytes put their backs to each other. The assassin fell from above killing all three as he spun his blade.

Baurus drew his sword. He struck one of the acolytes guarding him. The other guard rushed at Baurus. An arrow screamed passed Baurus's ear. It struck the other guard in the face. Blood spewed from his face as he screamed while he flopped on the ground. Baurus rushed to Jauffre's side. Two of the guards that were near Jauffre rushed Baurus. The three engaged each other. Baurus and the two guards' swords clashed with eloquent movements. The three swords moved through the air screaming as they pierced the air around them. The swords clashed and slid off each other. Baurus pushed the two acolytes back and rushed forward. With pinpoint precision striking one of the acolytes in the heart. The other acolyte lunged blindly at Baurus's back with his sword fully extended. The assassin appeared right next to Baurus blocking the sword. The assassin and the acolyte took a couple steps to the left. Watching each others move. In that moment the assassin moved his sword. The momentum of the sword disarmed the acolyte. The blade gently touched his neck.

"I wonder what your entrails taste like" said the assassin with an devious smile. His eyes were filled with blood lust.

“Lord Dagon will kill you” retorted the acolyte, “The Cleansing is almost here”.

The assassin shoved his sword deep in his neck. With quickness he spun to the left and pulled his sword to his mouth. His tongue glided over his sword. Collecting the blood off the sword. The remaining three fled in different directions.

“Should we give chase?” asked Baurus.

“No need” said the assassin “I'll hunt them down one by one and feast on their remains”.

“Jauffre,” shouted Baurus as he rushed to his side.

Baurus limped to Jauffre's side and applied a simple healing spell to help Jauffre recover. The assassin walked next to a dead acolyte body. The assassin pulled out a bottle and poured the blood of the dead body in it. Jauffre coughed up blood

Very good!!! Kudos!

Just one suggestion; try to take more care with 'choreography' such as identifying certain characters more clearly and making sure people know what is clearly happening during a fight sequence. Doing such is not easy as I know because it took me a long time to improve such skills and probably need to keep improving them.

Not criticism, Haciibrahimoglu123, just feedback done as positive and honestly as I could make it. Please keep on writing and do as comes naturally to you.
