Descivii
Ok, so the Biped slots are set to 55-Unnamed for ARMA and ARMO, ARMA record shows the apparel .nifs for both genders, ARMO has the apparel .nif under male, I also set the keyword to _ClothingSlotGunOnHip_Slot55 [KYWD:0100083C] Also, I can link it with the Visible Weapons mod but it does not show on my body. I can drop it on the ground and it shows on the ground but there's no way to highlight/pick it up. Edited March 6, 2016 by Descivii
Kikaimegami
Yeah, package the files up and attach them to a post, because who knows where it's gone wrong, and I'm better at diagnosing stuff if I have it to look at myself.

Kikaimegami
Ack. I see the problem. Did you do the steps that included exporting the entire thing as OBJ files, then loading a reference and importing them? The shapes in this aren't the correct kind and aren't rigged, which is why you can't see it when wearing it. Importing them as OBJ makes them BSSubIndexTriShape blocks (I think they just inherit properties from default shape parameters set in OS, because they end up with the female body mesh details set (material and flags)). I'd say go back to the steps I posted and give it another try. EDIT: Also, no problem :) I don't mind helping and I may end up making an actual, real tutorial from this once we get the fiddly bits sorted out, since I'm sure a lot of people would like to know how. Descivii
So I redid the whole mesh , weighting, etc...and Im adjusting the textures and materials in Nifskope and on the trigger apparel item, there is only 1 texture slot but the original gun trigger has the 3 .dds and cube map......what do i do? I tried copying the branch but 1) it creates it as a 2nd BSShader branch and 2) this 2nd branch looks just like the first. I can't seem to add all the textures for the apparel trigger. EDIT: Nevermind; I just had to leave the branch and come back for them to appear....I dont know why but whatever...they are showing now. Kikaimegami
Well, that's odd! Have you tested the new mesh in game yet? EDIT: Are you meaning the texture set only had one entry available? Or something else? It should always have 10, most of which are left blank. Edited March 7, 2016 by Kikaimegami

Descivii
game CTD if I try to drop itAlso, double checking .nif in Nifskope, it does indeed show the individual components as BSSubIndexTriShape. All the Material files and textures are set identically with exception to keeping the SLSF1 on apparel item and removing the SLSF FaceGen RGBTint Edited March 7, 2016 by Descivii
Kikaimegami
Alright, put this new one on dropbox and I'll have a look. I'm betting it's something I didn't explain well. One thing you can check yourself real quick is that in each BSSubIndexTriShape block's BSLightingShaderProperty where SLSF1_Environment_Mapping is set in Shader Flags 1, the Shader Type (at the top of the block details) needs to be Environment Map. Lord knows even I miss setting those sometimes, especially in stuff with a lot of shapes and shader properties to edit (such as.. weapon meshes :ermm: ) Pretty sure that causes crashes though, so it's likely not the issue... hm. Also, for the ground mesh, you should be putting the one that isn't rigged (though if I read the explanation right, then you don't actually ever see the apparel item again after you pair it with the weapon, so it doesn't matter too much I don't think). I'm betting your CTD on drop is related to that, though. EDIT: And don't feel too bad about this taking forever to figure out, since it's kind of a weird way to go about it especially for anyone who has never tried any of this before, but that's supposed to be what BodySlide/Outfit Studio is for, so..! I'm sure my writeup is missing things too, or needs stuff explained better. Edited March 7, 2016 by Kikaimegami
