  1. I was letting VaultGirl override DEFUI and found that things look correct but it crashes when opening the [Chem] category in inventory.
  2. yes there is, It's a save editor and not as user friendly as the one from Skyrim so you need to know what you are doing when using it. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10261/? Read the Description first
  3. meshes\actors\character\characterassets OR Playercharacterassets
  4. Is this perhaps the shadow? You can see a light haze around the left side of her hand and the book. It is only there on the Astounding perks that I noticed.
  5. OK, so the pip screens look good, I could only find 1 poster. It's amazing how hard it is to find the posters and billboards when you're looking for them. Anyways, I like it, it feels natural to the game and looks good. Good work.
  6. I had this problem with the previous update and turned out to be a material file that I created for a custom retexture to a gun and some of it's scopes. It had worked fine until the update. I reinstalled the same mod and let it overwrite the changes i had made it started working again. To elaborate more specifically; the gun had referenced combat shotgun's scope and when I made a retexture I made a new material file that no longer pointed to the vanilla gun's scope but to a new scope with my texture. For whatever reason the update did not like that.
  7. not sure what you mean with the edit at top....are you missing your Fallout .esm?
  8. Just downloaded and will be playing this afternoon. Thanks. I'll post some screens
  9. jkroovy, the best method so far seems to be to assume that anything not directly on top of the body weighting color may not take weights so I've made it a habit of assembling my weapon the way I want and position where I want then move parts that are outside the weighting color to be within it and make a note for each piece, do the weight paint then move them back. I almost always end up with suppressors, muzzlebrakes, etc... unweighted if I don't do it this way, then I have to redo it again.
  10. March, no, there's no male bodies represented in BS or OS. You can load the power armor in OS, more specifically the piece you'd want a weapon or whatever attached to so you get a feel for placement.
  11. the author has been posting pics in the pics section. They are updated to FO4 so one can only hope
  12. Mods can't uninstall each other. Are you checking the plugins tab to make sure that all the .esp and .esm are checked? Sometimes after a Beth update, the plugins get unchecked.
  13. When you save, the top bar (Texture Type) set it to Color, then 2nd bar (Compression) should be set to BC7 for best quality (sRGB) and Mip Maps I usually set to Auto Generate
  14. mac is right, it sounds like keyword issue and the object floating happens on occasion even on vanilla game but can be made worse if your fps is over 60.
  15. You should never install more than 5 mods at a time before starting the game to make sure they work. In this way, if something goes wrong you only have to work through 5 mods to figure out where the problem occured. The only thing I can suggest is disable all mods then adding them 1 by 1 and making sure they are installed correctly and with all requirements from their respective pages. As I mentioned, every 5 mods or so, start up the game to make sure it is continuing to load as it should.
  16. Im not sure but you 1) probably have more settlers than the game can keep track of for an area (60?, you said?) and you may also have some incompatibilities.
  17. You just scale the texure up though you need a good ....(not sure if it's a pluggin or what it technically is) but it basically uses some math for enlarging images to make them look better. Otherwise when enlarging any image you can end up with poor quality as details are basically stretched out. There are good whatever they are called that make enlarged images look better. In PS, you click Image, Image size and use Bicubic or Bicubic Smoother but there are 3rd party versions which are better. Keep in mind that changing the size of something like that that is common *could have a performance impact.
  18. I dont know if this is the problem but sometimes when only material files are referenced and no texture is selected in the BSShaderTextureSet then textures don''t show
  19. what format did you save the texture as? For Intel plug, I usually use the BC7 (sRGB, DX11) for diffuse and BC5 for normal and specular. Also, double check the pathing in your material file. For instance; if you copied your address from the bar in Windows Explorer then it will show the folder but not the file selectted and you'd need to manually add the file's name to the end of the copied address.
  20. Looks cool, One of the cool things is that not only the new content itself but with support for modding there is a bunch of new assets to be played with by mod creators.
  21. You say you made the ini changes, did you check to make sure the changes took? If the inis are set to Read Only then changes will not stick.
  22. I've never seen the Valkyrie textures but my first guess would be that it requires CBBE or some other body and you don't have it or not installed correctly
  23. For the pieces that you want weighted, they need 2 bones. Pick at least 1 bone that actually is the area of the body where the weapon will sit. Now paint each piece solid red with the bone selected for your main body area. The 2nd bone you chose should not have any weight painting on the pieces. Do Not paint the actual body.
  24. Not only are mod authors under no (0, none, nada) obligation but they lose nothing by taking their ball and going home; however, they do lose when they keep doing something they are no longer enjoying. Mod users on the other hand lose out on a mod and sometimes very good ones at that. The loading screen tells you flat out; "Show people respect or suffer the consequences"
