hellonf Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Is skyrim modding finally dying? I've played some great mods, but recently I have seen no quest/ new world mods. Is modding in skyrim finally dying?
Deleted32897100User Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Hope not, bought a PC the other day specifically to play and mod Skyrim

JetSteele Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Mods from Morrowind are still getting updated and I know of a couple authors that still mod Oblivion. Some authors have moved to Fallout 4 but I don't think authors for Skyrim will just stop coming out with mods, I think what's happening is authors are refining their current mods instead of pumping out new ones (at least that's what I'm doing right now; going through all my projects one by one and perfecting them). So even whenever the next Elder Scrolls comes out there will still be people modding Skyrim.
TonyOQuinn Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I'll cook up a hobbit. Sounds like a troll is coming for dinner.
Guest deleted2159825 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Four and a half years after release, Skyrim is still hanging with FO4 in Steam rankings. Additionally, I plan on continuing to mod both Skyrim and FO4. I don't see this as an either/or thing. Edited March 6, 2016 by someguy2000
Signette Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Obviously not, I didn't notice less influx of new mods or decreasing interest. As far as I'm concerned FO4 tools are still haven't been released (no idea honestly, not interested in this game, not owning it and not following news), plus TES and FO are different universes. I think modding will start dying when new TES with !tools! hit the market, not sooner.
Eolath Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 No, we have some pretty great mods coming up in the next few months. Enderal, Lordbound, to name a couple.
Terra Nova Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 I still have one I've been working on for 2 years..
