Crashing on sewer exit

I've recently re-installed, and added a load of mods. Whenever I exit the sewers, the game crashes.

My specs are:

AMD Phenom II x4 965

4GB DDR3 RAM

1GB HD6870

 

My load order (as given by BOSS) is:

Next time, use the List Mods function in Wrye Bash. It's easier to read than this. D:

 

Anyway don't enable Natural Weather and Natural Weather HDR together. I have a feeling the problem is with your weather mods, which is why it only crashes when you go outside, and not while you're in the sewer.

On exiting the sewer there is a huge jump in graphics rendering. Make sure you are not trying to run at too high of a resolution. Along with following all of the suggestions made by BOSS, you may want to try reducing the resolution until you get those bugs ironed out. Then when your game is working - increase the resolution to the native resolution of your monitor - NOT the max resolution of your graphics card or the default that the game assigns. Using a higher (or often even a lower ) resolution than the one your monitor was designed for will often cause slow down problems in the game even if it does look better.

 

A hard save (one that you will never overwrite or remove) just before exiting the sewer (tutorial) is always a good idea as that is just before the real game starts and your last chance to make changes in your character.

I noticed the Natural Weather mods just after I posted it, and tried deactivating all of them. No change, at the end of the loading screen the game crashes.

Other than bben46's advice, you can also try some console commands for debugging. Try using the "coc" command in the console (like "coc anvilcastlegate" or some other place you know). If the game crashes still, then it's something that loads everywhere (such as weather, tree meshes, or some form of worldspace script that's messed up). If it doesn't crash when you get there, then the error is with the area or events just outside the sewer exit.

 

Maybe that will give us a better clue on what's wrong.

Get those fixed, and re-run BOSS, and re-read, and build the bashed patch properly, and try again.
