Mookeylama
kinda afraid it would mess something up since i'm running 140+ mods. in fact, does that Game defrag do anything at all? thanks
Strobelight
Sorry I don't have an answer, but i'm curious, what is Game defrag?
Jeoshua
If it organizes files on the disk, then yes, it will help tremendously. If it f*#@s with memory actively then it will make Fallout glitchy and freezy.
Mookeylama
Sorry I don't have an answer, but i'm curious, what is Game defrag?it's a feature on the Gamebooster. it's like when ya defrag your whole comp harddrive but this just defrags individual games that you choose. i guess i could make a backup of the while FalloutNV main file and then try it. my main file's like 18+ gigs tho
Klipperken
Erm, use Perfect Disk, and Stealth Mode. This way yer PC is constantly in great shape, defrag wise. Just a suggestion...
Mookeylama
well i have a program to defrag the whole PC, like Perfect disc does. was just wondering if individually defraging FNV with lotsa mods would mess it up

Mortrix927
Uh. On my system, the only thing gamebooster did was turn off the part of the applications that interact with me. If I went to the "processes" portion of task manager, there every single one of them would be happily consuming memory.
Mookeylama
same here ^. i honestly don't think Gamebooster does much at all but i still use it lol. still unsure about doing this game defrag tho. making a copy of the whole game file now. guess i can stick that back in the Steam folder if the defrag messes anything up.
