FallenHeroX
yeah yeah i know there are plenty of em out there and the chat thing on the website is all fine and dandy but there needs to be a more solid nexus chat messenger that you can download with this requesters will be able to connect to a list of known modders and or active moding groups or teams and get their mod request done in real time provided modders are accepting request most of you would probably think this is a bad idea but you know what idc. ub3rman123
I'm afraid I don't see what gap this would fill. We have the forums for accessing modders who aren't online at the moment and the chat for instant answers and conversation. Now, a list of active modders would be useful, but most of us have things we're already doing, and I dunno how one would get onto the list, as in evidence you are a modder. SavageArtistry
Simple enough. Get yourself a universal chat client (Trillian, Pidgin, Digsby) then go to the profile of whomever you wish to chat with and see if they have made any chat nicknames public. Then all you have to do is stike up a conversation.
KDStudios
As nice and innocent as it may seem.I don't see this ever happening. As ub3r said. Modders have their own section now to discuss everything to do with modding and collaborate (Which is excellent)There is also a mod request forum for each game the nexus has a branch site for. Mods take time to make. Having a real time chat won't speed it up. What I've done for my project is sent out a whole bunch of large messages and I receive updates from people helping out occasionally.I also use a real time chat on my personal site that they use to contact me and discuss other matters to do with the project. So realistically speaking I don't see something like this being added to the nexus... ever.It already has the chat and a mumble, I think. (If it's still up from when Amnesia thingy happened)Those plus request forums should be all you need :)
