Strobelight
Hey Nexus forums, I feel really stupid for this, because the answer is probably so simple! I have a .fg file I got from the modder's resource "Rivens Famous People". It is a .fg (Face Gen data) of the celebrity "Eva Longoria". I saw this photo in the user upload section and I'm trying to replicate that character: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/images/40661-1-1300090579.jpg I have FaceGen exchange for Fallout New Vegas and I have the .fg file. I have a dummy save, also, right at the beginning of the game but I don't know how to put that .fg file into that save! Can anyone help me with this? Like I said, its probably so simple. Thanks a lot!
pickinthebanjo
Not sure if this helps but earlier today I was trying to get a stalker .dds face texture into the game and I noticed that there are some head meshes in the .bsa's so I wrapped it around it but since it was from a different game the UV map was incorrect. In any event I would also like to know how to get a new face texture into the game.
bethjunkie
Select the .fg file for the Input box and select the save you want to use in the Output box.
Strobelight
Select the .fg file for the Input box and select the save you want to use in the Output box. Thanks for the reply, I tried doing this, the .fg file as input and the .fos file as output and I clicked transfer. get a little pop-up box saying "We have a match" and "Finished" or something. I loaded the game up and nothing had changed to the player face, not sure what to do from there..
bethjunkie
Sometimes it takes a few tries and even a different save or two for it to "take". I get the best results by moving the save I want to copy my face onto to my Desktop, running the program and then moving the save back to my Saves folder. I don't know why but it seems to increase my chance of a successful transfer.
