Devlin37982
I have changed the fallout 4 and fallout 4 prefs .ini files, have installed all of my mods through NMM and enabled all plugins but none of my mods seem to be working? Anything i have missed?*Edit* One of my dialogue mods seems to show the full text but doesn't give the interface it should do Edited March 12, 2016 by Devlin37982
Descivii
You say you made the ini changes, did you check to make sure the changes took? If the inis are set to Read Only then changes will not stick.

EmissaryOfWind
Have you checked in NMM's plugins tab that the plugins are checked? I had this problem after the 1.4 update.
drsouce
I'm having the same issue, I've had mods running on the game for months with no problems. Randomly stopped working. I checked the plugins tab and it says i'm missing fallout4.esm? EDIT: fixed that issue, now the game keeps crashing on startup, still don't know if my mods are working Edited March 13, 2016 by drsouce
p4g3m4s7r
I have the same exact issue as the OP. Skryim works just fine, but Fallout 4 is a no no. Does it matter which user's ini files I edit? Both my administrator and user accounts have ini files, and it's hard to tell which is being used by the game and/or NMM.
wiolyna
Most of mine don't work either. Even though the NMM says some files need to be updated when I go to the mods' pages, it seems that the mods are up to date. But I reinstall them anyway. And they still don't work. And the NMM says they still need to updated. :ermm:
p4g3m4s7r
So, I had some success just now. I started a new character, and voila, a bunch more of my mods are working. Granted, not all of them are working, but more are working than used to work...
CruelRJeeZy
My mods are broken also. If I disable any mods while playing a new character ALL the mods disable & I'm unable to use them again with mods on that particular character.Everything is set up as it should be. p4g3m4s7r
Did you try starting a new character with all mods enabled? When I started my new character, more of my mods were activated on my old character as well.
