Issues with MCM's menu's that have a slider

ok so idk why it does this but i've ALWAYS had this issue and have more or less dealt with it, but now i'm fed up!

can anyone explain to me WHY this happens with certain MCM menus? (screenshot below)

The thing with menus is that it's not "load order" that is important so much as "install order". And menus generally don't appear in the "load order".

 

Just as with texture and mesh files, menu XML files overwrite any existing files in the same folder with the same filename. UIO is designed to accommodate multiple XML menu files, but it can't help if one has overwritten another. This is the same basic MCM issue I addressed in detail in this article.

 

You need to figure out which XML file is overwriting which, and either change the install order or create a merged XML file.
