At wits end... continuous RANDOM crashes...

So... I've been trying to play FNV for a few days now with all my favorite mods... and all I can get is about 30 minutes of uninterrupted play, then for no apparent reason my game will just die. These crashes are never repeatable, and seem to happen after I've gotten through about three to four major cells.

Here's the load order...

I haven't the slightest idea what's causing the conflicts / CTDs. I'm honestly about ready to just say forget it... and move on.

Any help?

Savegame corruption is my guess. Deactivate all mods, save then re-activate. If that doesn't work then start a new game as the errors have been 'baked' int your save, having occurred some time ago and causing crashes when the game reads them. For instance I had a savegame that Always (100% reproductible, down to whenever I physically in-game stepped foot in it) crashed in the cell outside the westside entrance...

Well that's my theory gone. Looks like you've got some conflicts in there, and pretty serious ones at that. Don't know where to start looking, I'm afraid.

"looking in all the wrong places ... for love." Leisure Suit Larry

I think what your experiencing is the natural loading nightmare of FNV. Try reducing your overhead by reducing texture qualities for water, reflections, shadows --- see if this helps. If it does you;re pointed in the right direction for a solution to your problem.

What op sys are you using? Quad or dual? DX 9 or 10, etc.

Make sure your saves are clean saves!

I believe that *Ultimatum* was one of the many mods which got borked with the last lovely update. It just got a new file a few days back though.

AND

There is an even newwer NVSE update (10) as well, which that mod always requires.

I've done so many things to try and fix this... I'm just about to accept the fact that it's the nature of this game... because I'm tired of trying to fix the game, I just want to play it...
