A little problem

Recommended Posts

..I'd totally just reinstall Oblivion and all my necessary mods, if it were me. But that's pretty much my solution to everything anyway..

Heh. I thought I was the only one that took the nuke-it approach to snarl-ups that aren't obviously fixable.

It is a good excuse to launch a new character & game though..

Ok, thinking this through. If it is affecting all saves, it probably is not specific to this character and is probably not just a glitched save. If it happens without any mods, then it isn't a mod but it could still be that a mod caused it. I think that leaves the possibility than your ini is corrupted, or your game needs reinstalling. You can regenerate the ini by renaming the oblivion.ini file which should be in your **USERNAME**\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion directory. When you launch the game, it should regenerate a clean one.

Might've been a mod you added before and have since disabled. D: Or just the Oblivion engine freaking out, like it does sometimes.

If it comes up again, let us know if you figure out what's causing it, for future generations to learn.
