The common damage is given by the effect, so I think you just need to create the script (which must be of "Magic Effect" kind) and place it under the "Effect name" in the spell creation window. If the script was created as "Magic Effect" it will be selectable there as "Script Effect", just navigate to your created script. Good luck. I don't know what you are asking, by my first guess is that you could apply the vanilla Oblivion "Damage Health" effect to your new spell.I really hope not, since this would be just changing the values for damage, duration and area for each preset effect... jumping on the neck in the main spell creation window :) trying to apply a scripted effect is a bit more complex but not hard at all. The only "secret", I don't know if it got clear in the previous post, is all scripted effects are selected by choosing the general "Script effect" which opens the option to navigate to the particular script (obviously such script must be written beforehand).
